The Keys boogie was in NOvember. You'll be a little late (or a little early) for that. Late Jan-Feb, anywhere in FL is hopping. that's our season! Come check out ZHills, yo can take a day trip to lake wales, sebastian, etc or the tunnel. ZHills has great facilities, awesome vibe, nearby places to stay or camping, 3 otters, and if you want nightlife (the dz has plenty) tampa and ybor city are within 30 mins max. Ybor city is a force to be reckoned with.

I was supposed to be in teh office today. But again, one of my derelict employees called in sick last night and the other *forgot* she was supposed to work. Guess who trucked in and worked all night last night? When I finally got home after no sleep at 9 this morning, the morning shift kept calling every 45 minutes.

I can relate. I've told my parents that if they keep up their acts, I'll stay here in FL for Christmas. My sister is fed up with them as well and is threatening to move in with me after her graduation. yikes!

I just saw on Fox news (Tampa Bay) that a Cessna started itself and caused quite a ruckus at ZHills today. I can't find news reports on line anywhere and I'm wondering if any dmage was done to teh DZ Otters or facilities. All I saw on the news was that the plane damaged a few other 182s and was halted when it ran into a hangar. Any info?

Mine was most certainly broken, to this day I can feel where it healed up a little funny. I'm sure there were broken blood vessels, etc as well, as I got clobbered in teh face at HD speeds. I made sure I was able to blow out my nose without difficulty and clear my ears before jumping.

I jumped with a *very* broken nose at Rantoul '02. My nose was broken early in the day when I was kicked in teh face during a head down skydive. I rested through the day, iced, etc. I made a lower-altitude chopper jump that evening to test out the waters. The most difficulty I had was getting my full face helmet on. Other than that things weren't so bad. Definitely try out a hop and pop first to make sure there's no sinus blockages, etc. Seeing that much of my own blood in freefal *once* was plenty for me.

walked in to meet galen's parents for the first time limping, the butt torn out of my jeans, and slightly inebriated after a trip to margaritaville. oops.

due to my crappy job, i'll be showing up either dec 30 or early on the 31st. i have no time off right now. I will be able to make a few jumps on NYE then party like it's 1999 though!

last year there were cute little chocolate filled (godiva liquor) strawberries. dagny and i enjoyed most of them before getting htem past the tents. we've tented it the past two years. we usually reserve a hotel room in town in advance, then as the day gets closer watch the weather and decide whether to camp or hotel it. hotels will book up quickly in the area.

ZHills, in FL. tons of people from all over the world. there's a band, fire line swooping, a bonfire that's HUGE, it's just an overall blast. __
