My Bev suit came unzipped once in the tunnel. I had been doing about 40 mins of RW flying and flew on my back/kneeflew for my last rotation. boxman cued me to drop a leg into a stag position and down went the zipper! teehee. moral of the story: don't wear a little tank top under your jumpsuit. -

Leave it to you people to turn a job thread into trash talk! HA! kinda same stuff Jib. I'm going back to hospice work. I'll be coordinating volunteers for 3 counties and doing trainings and working with long term care facilities to beef up hospice relations with them. Some counseling type of stuff, but that will be minor in my role. Like I did in PB county, only over here in sarasota/manatee/desoto. Mar, I'll be in sebastian for the naughty cupid boogie. It's a haul from here.

Got a new job offer today. Salary is the same, but the benfits are LEAPS and bounds above what I have now and makes the package MUCH more attractive. More vacation time too. No weekends, on call responsibilities which means i can be a skydiver again!!!! YAY!!!!

I'm dealing with this now. Do I walk in tomorrow and be honest with my boss, tell her I quit, her job sucks and she treats staff like garbage or do I lie and tell her I have cherished my time there?

they have shiner bock in FL. I've seen it in ABC stores a lot. It was, the last time I checked, a regular beer at the bar at the hills it was so common here. I believe Kris had some when he visited.

I had a 175 in my old J2 container. Granted it was an F111 Falcon and packed very easily, but it was still 175 sq ft of fabric. Having a new canopy close to that size *may* make you hate packing.

Talk to me about night jumps....

All the safety things have been mentioned pretty much. Not sure what kind of plane you jump, but if you are new to night jumps, try to sit near the door. It's a lot harder to get references at night, since what you would look for in the day is obviously darkened. It takes a bit to acclimate yourself to the ground in darkness. I too did a hop n pop at about 7K for my first one for that reason. Things look different and outs (if needed) aren't always as obvious. That said, night jumps are beautiful. I remember one particular jump at Cross Keys where you could see to one side the moon on the water, and on the other the Philly skyline. It was almost surreal. -

yeah, shortly after that, and realizing that Fruce had video, I had to run away to sunny Florida. We;re having our own freeze fest right now! it's only getting to 70 during the day! brrrr!

I have been to freeze fest several times. I think after those instances, Freeze Fest is scared of me. I turned the 1st annual beer olympics into a wet t shirt contest.

OK, I'll be out dec 30-jan 2. Make sure everyone says hi! Galen and I will have the biggest tent around! 170 sq feet that yo can walk around in! we know how to camp! I will have naked monkey punch available NYE as long as it lasts!

definitely personality. You can have the four best skydivers in the world, but if they are unable to get along enough to listen to each other and spend MASS quantities of time with each other, things won't go very far. My favorite memories are of my first team when it was four friends learning 4way. We had a great time, got along fabulously. Another team I was on had waaaaaaay to many politics and back stabbing. I'd rather spend all my money being happy, not miserable.
