    I didn't see your jump numbers, but the Katana is a higher performance canopy and the Lightning is used for CReW deployed sub-terminal only. The other four are all good canopies choices.     If I don't know the jumper, I ask for their logbook to check jump numbers as the first part of their WS FFC. I like to see what type of jumps they had done recently. If they have only done HnPs, they might want to do some tracking dives to get ready for a first wingsuit jump. If they bring me a brand new logbook with only one or two jumps logged and tell me they just filled their last book, I ask to see the old one. If they can't produce it, I'll wait until they can provide some sort of proof of their numbers/experience.     Bigun, the coach course I went through was geared towards the different CATs, but also included material on the general methods/skills of teaching. I use/rely on that training every time I take a student through a WS FFC.     I have 600 jumps between my Sabre 170 and 150. Never been spanked, let alone slammed. I just gently tuck the nose and quarter the slider. Nice brisk openings, but still soft.     OK Spence, finally found my camera to take a picture. My brother has named it the "Poofer", because that is the sound it makes when you pop the trigger. He makes them to play as a musical instrument. Haven't had the chance to try it. He has some that are so big that he can only play them at BurningMan.     John, I've watched it a couple times. I still get choked up. I have family that were in WWII. A very nice tribute to one how stepped up when the call to duty was sounded. Well done.

    Recovering after doing 30 minutes of RW tunnel time last night. After focusing on wingsuiting the last year, the concept of having to arch was a challenge. My back is sore. But nice to know I was able to pick it back up pretty quickly. Thanks to collinb and secksy beast for the workout. Tonight, meeting up with some friends from high school for a get together of food, drinks, and telling lies. Also got a new toy to try. My brother makes them. It's a mini flame thrower. The thing in tiny. He says it is safe to play with inside the house. I think I'll pull the battery out of the smoke detector just in case.
