    No beer for me. It all reminds me of the warm Coors that my dad used to break me as a kid of ever wanting a beer. I have been made fun of more than once that I like sweet girly drinks.     I did a bunch of practice jumps doing exits and deployments prior to putting on a wingsuit. I actually deployed a couple of times using the ws style. My openings were a bit more "brisk" with more pendulum swing. It didn't hurt, but I'll stick to the regular method to deploy when not in a ws. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.     Let's see: Arrived late the 26th, 23 jumps-including the balloon, DC-3, Beech 18, and my first 3 wingsuit jumps(I see why they call it nylon crack). Spent 8 hours over two days in the emergency waiting room as the designated driver. Met a shitload of dizzy dot commers. Thanks for all the laughs wildcard451 and Grue(aka Stiffy) Jumped with a bunch of Brits. They were the only ones willing to jump with me since they don't know my reputation for causing injury.     Hollister is south of San Jose. They go to 15K for $22 and 18K for $25 when a tandem is going. During March, the weather in the bay area can be a bit iffy at times. Hollister has a weird micro climate that keeps it clearer then most other DZs. All the DZs have nice turbines and I would jump at any of them. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.     Short answers Canopies are measured in square feet, not length Containers are made to fit the canopy, with a little variation for upsizing/downsizing. A 240 canopy is available. Check the sites of the canopy manufactures in the gear section at the top of the page. Wing loading is weight of you and all your gear divided by the size of your canopy.     I've done one as a rider. When you hook your legs/ankles at the hips, make sure you stay way clear of the wings so you don't pinch them. It doesn't take much to keep that grip with your legs. I sat with knees high just hooking my my ankles and heels at the hip. Try it on a creeper so you can see best body position. Once we were stable, I tried to cup as much air as possible. We got really slow. The Bird then had fun trying to buck me off. He couldn't do it until I finally let go at breakoff. It was a blast.
