    Is that with the understanding you'll drop down a bit before opening? Seems like the KA might be on jump run before you get down on the ground. Most of the people doing the HnPs from the Hollister KA are trying out a new canopy. By the time the plane is on jump run at 15K, the early jumper is well below standard deployment altitude. And if you do a HnP at Lodi, it is usually $2 to get on the plane and $1 per 1K. Depending on who is flying will determine how much/if you get a cut. Got to love the low tail on a KA.     My local DZs have landing areas that are pretty large and obstruction free, with good outs. One has a pump house that has been landed on. But then just the usual- fences, trees, power lines.     My DZ has a remote landing area from the airport. At its normal climb rate, the KA is about 8K by the time we are over the landing area. They'll dump you out if you want, but it is a full price jump. They'll do a HnP out of the C206 if you can get 4 people. Only time I tend to do them is when I'm watching a bunch of students doing theirs for the A license.     I had a hybrid of what has been described. Made mine at Lake McGregor at LP'05. I was familiar with the SIM already. Livendive gave me the briefing. I hopped off the dock and had the canopy thrown over my head. I was a bit nervous because I nearly drown as a kid. Don't like swimming much. It took me a bit to get out of the harness, but it wasn't as bad as I built it up to be. I at least know what to expect if it happens again. I'm glad my first experience of a "water landing" was in a controlled environment than under a reserve after the shit has hit the fan. That alone is worth it. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.     When I have the chance, I do. When there is someone siting on the baby seat, there is no room to sit side saddle with legs zipped. You have to load sans zipped legs so you can sit normal on the bench. Once the person on the baby seat moves, all the birds are bumping heads as they hurry to get their legs zipped. But the TIs love when birds are on the load. No need to fight the spar because we are sitting behind it instead of them. 50 donations so far. Give it a try.
