During a raft jump at the last American Boogie at Davis, a bunch of us watched from the ground. After breakoff, the raft floated down to land on the AC boarding area right next to the creeper pad. It landed before the jumpers walked back from the landing area. Some folks grabbed the raft and put it back where the group had dirt dived the jump. I had the same problem. I found that by putting my hand between my head and the pillow was just enough to raise my ear slightly off the pillow. Couldn't hear my pulse. Works like a charm. 0:2:0 1 coach jump and 1 solo WS jump. I was the only coach available. The student was real floaty. Let's just say I'm not. He made me work the whole time. He did a great job and I found out I can slow my fat butt down pretty well w/o my swoop cords. Worked on doing barrel rolls in the WS. Looks like I need to do a some more jumps to get it figured out. Wanted to do a 15K H&P with a buddy to do some no contact CReW, but ran out of jumpers to fill the KA for a true sunset load. Beautiful day though. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. As explained to me when I registered, recovery after bone marrow donation is faster and the marrow is replaced. But the harvesting is quite uncomfortable/painful. Drill the hip with holes and extract it with a large needle. I feel it a small price to pay for someone who needs it. 50 donations so far. Give it a try. I have a friend in Canuckaduh that is a welder. He loves them for the safety toe, they are snug around the ankle, plus the kick off feature. I just googled the model number and found the cheapest online store with free shipping and no tax. Specialty Tool USA was the lowest by a few bucks. There were 4 others within a couple of bucks. List from Wolverines was about $156 plus shipping. I got them for $116. And April, no way am I throwing the old pair away. I wear shoes until they are falling apart. My job has stairs with really course treads that finally wore out the soles of my trusted old boots. Got some new foot covers. Chicks aren't the only ones that like a new pair of shoes. The new work boots I ordered just got delivered. I've done Oahu and the Big Island. To me, Oahu is the equivalent of Disneyland surrounded by water. Crowded, busy and over priced. The Big Island is more laid back. I was there for a week and loved it. You can still find that hole in the wall local establishment and get a feel of what Hawaii can be, or do the touristy stuff. No, I don't coach at Z-hills. I'm a westcoast jumper. I've only been there once, and couldn't even jump. I was poking fun at Chuck. He is at Z-hills and has just a few more wing suit jumps than me. Stop by and have some fun. He'll do you right. I will be attending F&D 3.5. maybe see you there.
