    The other side of that coin is that administration can be so strict or complex that it becomes counter-productive. While it's undesirable for money to be spent for purposes other than those for which it was intended, it is equally undesirable to spend a dollar on administration in order to prevent 50¢ from being spent inappropriately.     Google has been good in the past with respect to not handing over personal data of its users to the US government. As I understand the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (I'm not a lawyer), downloading copyright protected material is not illegal, provided there is no intent to use the material in trade and don't defeat any encryption to access the material. [I]Uploading copyrighted material, on the other hand, is illegal, since the copyright holder, and their agents, has exclusive distribution rights. For those who might be wondering, downloading via bittorrent typically involves uploading data as well as downloading without the user explicitly starting an upload, so if the the data is copyrighted, the exclusive distribution rights of the copyright holder are being violated. Chemistry is the wrong place to look if one wants to understand gravity. Likewise, if you want to understand why time doesn't go backwards, you should look at Thermodynamics, not General Relativity.     I quit for over three months a few times. The last time, I told myself it was going to be the last time I quit. If it didn't work, I would just die a smoker. I made it a real commitment; it was no longer something I could try again if it didn't work. The other important thing was that I was never "trying to quit." After I put out my last Marlboro, I went from being a smoker to a non-smoker, like flipping a switch. That was in November 2001. I haven't used tobacco in any form since then. It wasn't always easy, and sometimes it was a struggle to just get through the next five minutes, but it was worth it. Math tutoring available. Only $6! per hour! First lesson: Factorials!

    It's unfortunate that the Bush administration ignored former President Clinton's warning regarding the dangers posed by al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations. Or, more accurately and realistically, they're not happy with our foreign policy. All the more reason to adopt a more responsible foreign policy. The US does some good things in the world.     Try Jack's in Panama City. Jack Smith was an Air America pilot, and has the place packed with memorabilia that make the trip very interesting, as well as satisfying to the palate. 359 If I make it to Panama City, I'll give it a try, but so far my experience has been that if you go very far east of Memphis or very far west of Kansas City, the word barbeque loses its meaning and associated flavor.
