Nope not even close. People will use bombs, knives whatever. There is no need to skydive either. But you CHOOSE to skydive as some people choose to have a gun that can be reloaded. There is also no reason why a car should be able to go 100 MPH, but people choose to have them as well. Alcohol causes many problems, but people still choose to drink. Would you ban: Skydiving, Guns, Cars that do over 75, and Alcohol to save people? I am not now, nor have I ever been a clown. Not even had my face painted as a kid. Amazingly none of my guns has ever killed anyone either. I don't feel safe having people like you make rules for ME. Ever even shot a firearm? And I think you have no right whatsoever to tell me what I am allowed to do or not. Think about all the lives we could save by banning tabacco and alcohol. Also think about how well the alcohol ban worked when it was tried. You don't like people having guns? Can I suggest moving?

Just as I am sure that all those that have been saved by guns were glad they were there. Simple fact. People who wish to get a gun to do harm will get one. I am waiting to see if these guns were legally bought or not to make more comments. Right now however, I would guess they were not legally obtained.

Can someone tell me (without snide comments) why voter ID's are a bad thing? I mean one person, one vote should not be a crazy idea, and only US citizens should be allowed to vote right? Is it really that hard for a legal citizen that is registered to vote show an ID? I have no issue with that statement. YOU however are claiming that if Bush does not agree then he does not support the troops. Which is BS and most can see right through it. I tried to give you an example, but you choose to ignore it. (Clinton and the Min wage bill). Facts are that Bush will most likely veto this bill DUE to the withdraw timelines. But the other fact is that Congress attached the withdraw timelines KNOWING that Bush would veto it. Just so they and people like you could make the BS claims you are now making. The reverse could be said and would also be just as true. Congress only cares about getting what they want and are willing to not fund the troops if that is what it takes. If Congress really wanted to support the troops they would have passed a withdraw bill that was seperate from the funding bill. Then they could have claimed they tried to do their jobs, and could still blame Bush. But you and them want to slam Bush, so it is more fun to claim he does not support the troops.
