What makes you, or anyone else, think they have BETTER intel? It is pretty arrogant to think you have better intel than the guy that has the CIA, FBI, NSA ect giving him briefings. Now the question of the bead intelligence is a great one. Do you not think that many people given the same intelligence would come to the same conclusion? Kinda a GIGO result? I think that a GIGO situation is a hell of a lot more likely than thinking a President just wanted to go to war. So IMO, the failures of the intelligence services are a real problem and unless you know that the President got information that said one thing and went with another, well I would love to see proof of that. If there was proof, not just speculation, I would like to see the President impeached. But so far I have never been given any real proof, even though people claim to have some.

But I am willing to bet this place was the same when Clinton was in office, and will be the same if the Democrats can put someone into office. Except the rolls were/will reverse. I wish people would use logic and not so much emotion when trying to discuss on here. And for what it is worth. I think Bush did stop the buck. Several Presidents, including GW1, Ronnie, and Clinton, all played a part in where we are right now. But Bush2 did something about it. Some may say he was wrong, maybe he was, but he did something while others passed the buck.

Boeing has had their fair share of issues as well. I am not sure that Airbus was ready to take such a large undertaking, but they had a good plan and a good vision. Also, boeing had issues with the 747, MD had issues with the DC/MD-10's. Big new projects have issues.

No. But that will be for history to decide. Of course if you had asked me if he was the best president ever, my answer would be the same. I think he has done some good things and some bad. I am upset at the secret prisions. I am not all to happy with the wire taps without a court order. However, those wire taps may have prevented further attacks on U.S. soil. So I am torn on that issue. But I can say I was not upset when they were over turned in court. It would have been very interesting to see how any other man would have done the same job in the same situation. One think I like about Bush is I really do think he is doing what he thinks is best for the Country. I can think of a few other people who did not.

Chances are they would have diverted it so as not to nuke Hawaii. But they wanted to show that they could have if they wanted. Not an act of war since there was no damage. But there will be some additional pressure since they were trying to prove a point. Well, thats a hard question. They do not want war, they want money and support. I suspect we will give it to them, and they will act like they are going to dismantle their program, but will not. Then the UN will pass resolutions that will be ignored (starting to sound familiar?) At some point a very tense situation will happen. Both sides knowing that they are on the brink of a nuclear war. It will be a new cold war, except this time one person will be an insane dictator. I think if he remains in power he will eventually launch one at Japan. But since he has them, you can't really do anything about it but through politics. I would LOVE for the UN to actually do something about this. But the UN has a history of not doing anything, or not doing very well. Darfur for example.
