That could also mean blowjob.

How do you take "it was a good rape" said by a teenager about sexual contact with an adult out of context? The play is a good play, but please don't claim it does not say/do what it clearly does. And yes, you say that about many plays...Sophocles’s play Antigone where Creon continues to stand by his position about how he could send his son’s future bride to a probable death Creon responds, “There are places enough for him to push his plow, I want no wicked women for my sons”. (Scene 2) It was written in 441 BC. And none of that has to do with the reason they were punished. They were told not to do it and they did.

You post with the INTENT of pissing people off. That is called trolling and it is a sign of immaturity. You make strong statements about things you ADMIT to know nothing about: You make emotional attacks on people who disagree with you: Thats not really mature either. So your trolling, attacking, and snap judgements not based on any information make you seem really immature. Maybe you should not troll so much if you want to be taken easy?

We agree on this. I see it as the subject (and the song "Fuck 'da Police") are both not approved. Doing the play (or playing the song) when being told not to is the issue and is what I meant by "If those parts are not appropriate for a SCHOOL function". Someone, right or wrong, said that it is not appropriate and made a rule. They broke that rule, just like playing "Fuck 'da Police" would be against the rules and I would expect to get punished.
-
From the article: It was one part of a larger production. Many times when I was in school the smaller parts were not printed or advertised before the performance for the audience to know. Besides, as you already stated, they were told no and did it anyway. I have no problem with them being punished for breaking a rule. Now should they have been told that they could not say it? I personally do not think so. So while it may be a dumb rule, they were told not to say it and they did.
-
If those parts are not appropriate for a SCHOOL function...Yes. I don't expect they are allowed to play NWA "Fuck 'da Police" at a school function either. They were told not to do it and they did it. I have no issue with them being punished.

I like how you feel it is ok to trash another culture or the way another country runs itself...Very enlightened So you really know nothing about guns then right? How do you feel when people say that skydiving is only for idiots when they have never jumped? Or only people without friends do such a dying style as freestyle? Ignorance is what makes all of the above statements...Including yours. But still happens.
-
Well if all you are doing is trolling, sure it worked. But your posts continue to smack of arrogance when you talk about a subject when you have admitted you know nothing about the subject. So if all you are doing is trying to start shit...That also goes to show your emotional maturity.

It is about playing the odds. Odds are I will never need a gun at all, much less pull it out, even less firing it, even less than that being engaged in a prolonged gun fight. I would be safer if I carried my AR-15 with a standard combat load, riot shotgun, and a glock .40 backup in a leg holster.....But I *feel* that a small gun with the right load will be enough for 99% of the problems I could ever encounter.

Can't provide proof, so you just make snide remarks? Like I have said before to others...Bring some proof and I'll join you in asking for his head. Not speculation, not desires, not what you think he did, but some evidence.

While I understand your view...These statements make me think something else. I agree that many pilots stuff it in trying to show off. But it seems this may not be the case here.
-
This post just goes to show how little you know and do not care to learn. I find it very funny that you have claimed to not know about guns, but think make comments about how bad they are. I would rather face an idiot with a gun, than an expert with a knife anyday.

We used to do this in the military all the time. Amazing the difference.
-
I love this from that site: "Petraeus suffered his second major military injury, when, during a training jump, his parachute collapsed at low altitude, resulting in a hard landing that broke his pelvis." I saw it....It was not a collapse. He tried to stand up twice before we got to him and told him to stay down. I think my actual words were..."Stay the fuck down....Uh, Sir!" Later he gave me this: See attachment All around a very smart guy. I liked being around/being led by him.
-
While training is great....KISS is better
-
And the anti gunners are quick to ignore the good they can do. The difference is this...We aready have laws that are supposed to prevent bad people from doing bad things..The only thing gun laws do is prevent good people from having a gun...Thats it.
-
A qoute from you: Again the attacker used a KNIFE not a gun. So that does show that those who wish to do harm will do it even if they don't have a gun. Again a the same quote from you: Or with someone who refuses to admit they said something once they are called on it.
-
But without a phone book he would have never become anybody important.
-
Thats funny.
-
Anti gun. You stated that this incident shows that people would not do harm if they didn't have guns. The attacker used a knife. That eliminates your argument that without a gun people would not bother to kill. As for the bystanders....Maybe they would have stepped in with a gun, maybe not. But your argument that killers will not kill unless they have a gun was shown false. If you want to make the statement that people are more likely to step in to help a stranger if they had a gun....I would agree.
-
For self defense that should not be an issue. EASE of use should be the issue. Safetys require training and practice to remove. When the stress level is up, and you need it now, I would rather have a DA only revolver.

The Repuglican Party continues to be a hypocritical joke
DaVinci replied to Lucky...'s topic in Speakers Corner
Patrick Kennedy crashed his car while high in DC...Yet you jump all over Rush...Where is your outrage over Kennedy? William Jefferson was caught on tape taking a 100,000 bribe. He was found with 90,000 in a freezer. Yet he was just appointed by Pelosi to a big commitee. Where is your outrage at that? The simple fact is this...You only get pissed when Republicans do anything wrong and ignore when Democrats do it. THAT IS HYPOCRISY! -
S&W laddy smith .357 Small, light, revolver. Almost the perfect carry piece

Nice try, but this gun didn't kill anyone. I never deny that a gun is a better weapon for killing. What I do say is that a person set on doing harm will do it anyway. Something your type seems to ignore. You think that a guy will see gun and then decide to kill. He decides to kill *then* looks for the best weapon. Get rid of the gun and he would use a club or knife as this story shows. The guy that attacked the woman attacked using a knife and a can of gas. He had the desire to do harm and used whatever tool he had to do it. That proves our point quite well. The BYSTANDERS didn't want to do harm. They clearly didn't want to risk their lives to step in either. The one guy with the gun felt it was safe to get involved. Like it or not a guy intent on doing harm grabbed a knife (BAN KNIVES!!!!!) and attacked a woman. A bunch of folks stood around and did nothing...Most likely afraid to get involved in a knife fight. Then a guy with a gun stopped the attack and didn't even have to fire the weapon.

We already have the rules. It is illegal to carry a gun without a permit. It is illegal to use a weapon (even with a permit to carry). It is illegal to hurt another person (weapon or not).
