  1. Ok it took some time but here is a first picture on our pond. It's been taken last weekend when we had to days swoop-coaching. By the way, it's not me on the picture but is was a realy nice one
  2. Both started skydiving last year??? In the previous reply you can see in his profile that Smizo is 9 years in the sport? Dangerous to say,... before you now it all new skydivers are flying under a Xaos, Velocity or whatever. Be save!
  3. Check out the attachement I think it will be handy.
  4. No Swoopalarm,....... Guess I keep my Suunto Altimax. For me the swoopalarm was the mean-reason to by the Viso
  5. Hey Iwan, It was 9 PM when I took the pictures today. The pond was just filled. By the way, we are only allowed to jump in the weekends I'll try to take some pictures this weekend. Cya,
  6. And now filled with water Iwan, you are more then welcome!!
  7. At least, after several months we started building our own swooppond. Tommorow it will be filled with water. +/- 80 m long and 10 m wide.
  8. And I like mine very very much. And that is a Demon 100 for sure
  9. Then it must be a cobalt competition. I thought the designer from that canopy and the Demon from performance variable are one and the same. Do you know what size it had and with what wingload you were jumping it?
  10. According to his avantar it's a Onyx 75 ft². But like you said,.. it looks exactly the same like a Demon from Performance Variable.
  11. My second canopy was a Sabre 150. Loved every bit of it. Even the openings which were never hard. I learned the basics for swooping on that canopy. Trade that one in for a Sabre 135 and again,.... no regret! You would be amazed what you can do with that canopy. That also 30 demo jumps on a Sabre 2 135 and I have to say,.... that canopy is fun fun fun!
  12. That is what happens if you crash into the pond on the previous jump
  13. This is still my favorit and it fit's almost with every rig
  14. We had professional coaching and eye contact was one of the thinks we did very well according to our coach! We had 1/2 day briefing before we went to the tunnel, then the tunnelcamp itself and afterwards again 1/2 day debriefing. We started the season with a personal coach for our team and we already can see the results from that. But thanks anyway for the remarks
  15. Just want to share this picture with you all It's from our tunnel-training last month in Paris (France). We had a lot of fun but nevertheless we learned a lot! We are going to make an attempt to get a spot on the podium in the Single A-class It's going to be fun fun fun!
  16. The new record with the 400 is there!
  17. Send an e-mail to Performance Variable and they will ship you the demo-canopy (risers included) for free. The only thing you have to do is to jump that demo and after 4 weeks you will have to send it back. You will have to pay for the costs to send it back. You can find there contact ifnormation on: http://www.myskyshop.com/catalog/contact_us.php?osCsid=5968744997570b9bfbfdff3ab2b27721
  18. Suunto X-lander. Easy to use and easy to read. In the future I will by myself an Viso from L&B but the Suunto will do fine for the moment.
  19. Jumped both in the same size (135 ft²) in my own rig which is a Mirage M2. The stiletto is much easier to pack! My sabre had about 200 jumps on it and that Stiletto 75 jumps so I would say that that Stiletto was still new. If you ask me, I would say that the Stiletto packed smaller. That was not only my conclusion.
  20. Just send them an e-mail. The service is great. The holder of my Pro-Dytter was cracked. Send them a mail about the problem and to days later I recieved a new one including 2 new batteries. Great service there at L&B!!
  21. 8.9 Kg or 19.6 lbs Mirage M2, Demon 100, Tempo 150, Cypres and hook knife.
  22. If you want you can see one of my first frontriser landings with my Sabre 135. It's from one year ago. It's certainly not a perfect landing. It was a 90° turn whitch I started at 380ft. You can say that this is a slow carving turn I think here is the link: http://www.skydivingmovies.com/ver2/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=2400&string=Sabre%20135
  23. This is a tricky question. It depends on how you do your turn. If you do a slow carving 180° you will lose more altitude then on a fast aggressive turn. But then again, you will have more time in that slow carving turn and it is much saver in my opinion. On my Sabre 135 loaded at 1.47 I started my 180° at 420-440ft. But on an aggressive turn it was 380ft. On my present canopy, a Demon 100 loaded at 2.0 I have to start much higher but I'm still searching for the right altitude. (I don't have that much jumps on this canopy) In each case it will not be below 500ft
