  1. I use the Suunto X-lander. I'm very happy with it and use it now for almost 5 years. Ok, the numbers are nt that big but more then big enough to read in freefall. I like it especially for the accurancy under the canopy. It helps me, tougether with my Optima to make a good setup for the swoop
  2. Great dropzone with very nice people, always ready to help. De dropzone is more then big enough with a lot of clear space. Very nice swooppond 80m by 10m. Nice plane (Cessna grand caravan) Perfect for students but also for swoopers.
  3. Even if you can swoop very very good over land,...water will make a big difference. It's difficult to see how low you are until you see the reflection on the water. The princes of water sucked me in to But there is a simple solution and they also use it for people who jump from the tower in the water (10m) Just make sure that there are rimpels on the water by spraying water over the surface of the pond. Sorry, but I can't explain it better in English
  4. Isn't there a part for the insurance? - 1 part of the paiment as member - 1 part as insurance Just check this at your DZ.
  5. Don't wash, there is always a possibility that they shrink wich invluence the openings and even the flying char. cya Bro
  6. Although my removable slider is a little bit smaller, the openings terminal and sub-terminal are softer.
  7. You can see the move in the video on skydivingmovies.com http://www.skydivingmovies.com/ver2/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=5642
  8. swooping the pond at Black Moutain (Zwartberg) in Belgium
  9. But this is in the middle of the canopy? It seems that the middle cell posistion in lower then the rest, not like a deformed canopy when giving harnas-input
  10. Nice pics! Strange, in picture 1700 and 1701 there is a strange distortion in the middle of the canopy on top.
  11. Same issue as with Mirage about a year ago. Same reason for replacing the cutter
  12. I ordered my Vigil in Belgium, I'm also living there. My (master)rigger is also dealer from Vigil.
  13. I will have my Vigil 2 within 3 weeks
  14. In my humble opinion it was too late. You lost all your speed before you switched to toggles.
  15. Is the video available on the net? Can you post the link please. Thanks
  16. Same by me, I'm flying the Demon competition 100 ft² loaded at 2.1 I like the canopy very much... Now waiting for a Velo 90
  17. Don't know if Tobi already has his JVX, but he certainly ordered one
  18. Is it perhaps the new Demon Competition? That's the canopy I have. If you compaire it with the standard Demon I can say that it's a much better canopy if you want to use it for swooping. I had the standard Demon but now I flying the demon competition. Openings are almost the same but it's a little bit more sensitive on bodyposition. The dive is much longer and also the recovery-arc. Because of this it easier to fly on backrisers. As an example: I had a demon 100ft² and I started my 270° at 550 ft Now I'm flying a Demon competition 100ft² and I have to start my turn at 700 ft. In both cases I loaded the canopy at 2.1 I like the competition version much more than the standard Demon
  19. I believe that the material is Nylon Zero-P (double coated PU & silicon). The same material that is been used by firebird (Performance Variable) It's much easier to pack a brand new canopy. The pictures that Brain posted are certainly not the radical, that's correct. For me it's just the Demon but then under the name of Atair On the attached picture you can see that the canopy is the same as my Demon competition.
  20. Is it possible to put it on Skydivemovies.com ? It would be nice
