  1. Legal immigrant isn't considered an American Citizen anymore? Many legal immigrants are not citizens. Same as in Canada. Immigration is a path to citizenship, it does not grant citizenship. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  2. Are you in favor of immigrants being required to: A) State their religion for the record, and B) Being placed on a list if that religion is one of the many forms of Islam? Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  3. On further reflection, things that I think are important to America: Immigration, it has always been important. Despite the current thinking that "Mexico is not sending it's best" the best is always what seems to make the great effort of uprooting themselves and moving away. Immigration is one of the great drivers of America. This is possible because American natural resources are not yet fully exploited. There is still a lot of room for population and economic growth. Fully developed nations can't cope with this. China for example. It's old and hidebound and fearful of its masses of people. There is no room for much individuality in that kind of place. In America it thrives. Another very important factor is the 1st Amendment rights. Freedom of the press is what gave you Breitbart News and enabled Trump. But it's also what will limit the damage that can be done. And it will usher in change when it is again time for change. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  4. What makes America great is the promise it holds. It's not really inherently better than other societies, but it makes an effort to try to be. Or it did..... Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  5. Thanks for that. You are such an inspiring example of the best the right wing has to offer. Anger and insults, yes you are the best. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  6. The only thing in your list of wishes that USPA doesn't do is oversight. It's not a racket and calling people "dinosaurs" and the other things you say about them further down post just show your skill at insulting people. Hardly helpful. Is it worth $55/year? Yes. If you want real oversight, with audits, someone will have to pay for the auditors. And you will need to get the law changed to make skydiving regulated so that compliance is required. Otherwise DZs and members will quickly just drop out of USPA because they don't want a regulated system, and they certainly don't want to pay the fees that regular audits would require. You can run for office in USPA, you can get on committees. Or you can just post angry ill informed outbursts here that highlight how little you really understand. I suspect you are the sort of person who will do the later. Once you start with talk about people "finger popping each other's assholes" guess who starts looking bad? It isn't those people. 7. I'm not surprised that this sort of thing has come up. And it is far from unprecedented in your America. (or Canada either) The real test is what happens to ideas like this. The world is full of people who distrust and hate, it's up to We the People to speak up and keep them in check. People like you, and Megyn Kelly, and myself and the rest of us. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  8. Give it up. These people did nothing wrong. There is no rule on the order the harness must be tightened. Get off your high horse, your way is not the only way. (except at your DZ, there your way rules) Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  9. No, we are talking about behavior. Sexual assault. Pussy grabbing because he is a powerful man who takes advantage of his power to abuse much less powerful women. We are talking about his feeling of entitlement and how he expresses it in actions. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  10. I'm going to have to disagree on both points. When any country enters a war it's citizens feel a need to be on board. At least when the battle is actually being fought. The only evidence I've seen of Trump supporting that invasion is the Howard Stern clip. And it was tepid grudging support. As far as I know that is the only indication he supported the war. Unlike most everyone else in America. Including Clinton, who voted for it. At home in Canada most of us knew it was an error, and history did not take very long to show we were correct. But most of America, and many in Britain, were good and ready for just about any war. As long as it was against a Muslim country. Because 9/11. 11. Read the topic line that Wendy wrote. It's not about Trumps's locker room talk. Sure, many and maybe most men have spoken amongst themselves in ways that are disrespectful of women. That's not the issue. The issue is that Trump bragged about what he DID to women. He bragged of being able to assault them with impunity because he he rich and famous enough that he could get away with it. Most, probably almost all, men who are rich and famous and possibly could get away with it would not. Because they are more decent human beings than Trump. Wendy's OP asked how you would feel about this man acting this way toward your loved ones. And her main question is "Do you think that what Trump did is okay"? Once again, it's not about talk. It's about actions. Do you think pussy grabbing without an invitation is okay? Do you? Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  12. Alright, let's give Trump a little credit on this one. Try as hard as they could, his opponents could only come up with a very lukewarm sounding "I guess so" quote of him replying to Howard Stern when asked at the time. And Stern pushed him pretty hard. This was at a time when the war had started and Americans needed to rally around the troops. As much as I dislike Trump, there is very little evidence that he supported the Bush invasion of Iraq. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  13. You don't get to choose reality. You do get to choose your outlook. Something is wrong about your choice, but it's your choice. Fortunately most people choose see more clearly than you do. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  14. Yea, cuz who can stand moderation? Especially when you can have extremism! Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  15. People who support him will feel that way for sure. He will be the most scrutinized and reported on POTUS ever. And that's saying a lot. But a man who craves the lime light as much as he has done has no business complaining about that now. Scandal and controversy has followed every President for a very long time. Except BHO, no scandals there. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  16. Yet you post as though you do. No, you just fail to read and understand what I post. You are reactionary and post in anger without taking the time to completely digest what has been said. It is one of your hallmarks. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  17. Keystone Kop Klub? Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  18. I know he claims to have isolationist tendencies. And I know he can be a hot head. I do not know the future. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  19. The west will have a better relationship with Russia when Russian policy stops being expansionist. Until then it will remain very tense, Trump or not Trump. Remember, Trump wants to be a "Great President" all the greatest ones presided over wars. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  20. It's all actually happening because of the gunner on the grassy knoll. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  21. Sea level is up. Sea ice is down. Glaciers are disappearing. No need to worry about instrumentation. We can just use our eyes. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  22. From the left wing rag "Time Magazine" Steve Bannon will be the first Trumpeteer to be dumped. (Christie was just demoted, not dumped) Already he is being shunted aside. What the hell does "chief strategist and Senior Counselor" mean? Nothing but a holding cell on the way out the door. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  23. Now I understand. Beck has outed Bannon as the racist he really is. And now the alt right nation is upset at him. Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
  24. Obviously not all Trump supporters are white racists. But also likely all the white supremacists who voted supported Trump. Here's a nice example. http://time.com/4571315/west-virginia-michelle-obama-ape-heels/ Always remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
