    Back to the heath insurance plan for a minute now. apparently it's complicated. The opposition is mounting from all sides. Either you think it's still socialism and gives free medicine to undeserving freeloaders. Or you think it's a gift to the wealthy on the backs of the poor. AARP says no, Republican governors in states that took the medicare expansion say no way, Democrats say no, Tea Party says "out of my cold dead hands". Koch brothers are definitely not happy.     What YvonneWiggers said. Even if the Skyhook disconnects, the RSL system still functions as a normal RSL. Many people get Skyhook equipped rigs but don't take the time to fully understand exactly how the system works and what it does. The fact that it's all packed away where only your rigger sees it is the main cause of this. It's difficult to explain it in just words.     Just an estimate I've seen. Nothing more than that. The Skyhook needs to be able to release allowing for pilot chute activation when there is no cutaway. Sometimes it will release lanyard during a cutaway as well. Any MARD is just a fancy RSL and a backup device. It is not to be depended on as part of a plan for deployment.     You're reading too much into it. I was really only making a joke about TK leaving the large Florida DZ that he runs and come to help out at our small one Cessna DZ on the Canadian prairie. Not going to happen, and that was the point. No matter what kind of liberal, conservative, or whatever you are, things are probably going to be all right. But Trump as POTUS, with Bannon as chief ideologue should give every thinking person a reason to pause. It's easy to see how things could go horribly wrong. Even though the system of checks and balances, and the fact of the free press will likely prevent that. Liberals largely deserved to lose that election. Many were complacent and stayed home instead of voting. They deserve a turn to the right.     Nearly every new jumper struggles with packing. And just like you they have the most trouble bagging it. Especially when they buy a new rig with the largest ZP canopy that will fit. And usually so they can have "room to downsize". I hate that term. Everyone learns a slightly different way to control the canopy and pull the bag around it. I can't tell you what will work for you. You should watch what others do. People with larger hands use them more. People with smaller hands use their knees and legs more. The key is to control the bundle. It just takes practice.
