All I heard was Biden saying that he is not taking any of that shit. He did stumble on some words, but he spoke better and clearer than I have heard him in the past. Cocaine is a large part of the zeitgeist, as I'm sure you know. Because no one is perfect. The stakes are high, and anyone running will find opposition hammering away at any mistakes or missteps they have ever made. Joe Biden has lived a long life with plenty of events in it. Just who meets your standards? I think Barack Obama probably is the most "worthy" POTUS of my lifetime. It's pretty hard to find many personal flaws in him.

It is leadership, but not just federal. State and local as well. In any society there would be people who would resent these rules. In America the leadership has allowed it to become an identity issue. I heard the governor of GA saying mandatory mask rules are unenforceable. That sends a clear message that you don't have to wear on if you don't want to. If instead they made a rule it would be difficult to enforce and you would not get 100% compliance. But you would get far more that just saying "do whatever". Leadership matters. It can create social pressure to do the right thing or it can send the opposite message. The Sturgis MC rally? Are you freaking kidding me? State leadership could easily stop it from happening, or at least reduce it to a much smaller underground event. They can not possibly make enough money to be worth the enormous risk to the locals and the visitors who will go home and become spreaders.

Well, judging by the huge plume of smoke that was already in the air at the beginning of the video I would say yes, there was already a good sized fire happening. And that is also likely what was being videoed at the time.

I can not watch Letterkenny. The dialog is too fast for my failing hearing, and the dialog is everything. My wife loves it. TPB is outrageous and sometimes outrageously funny. I have friends who are totally offended by it, which makes it even better. There is only one sympathetic character on the show, (Bubbles) even the children are given offensive roles.
