I hear that in the last 24 hours the protesters have been messing with the ambassador bridge. That’s not gonna go down very well.

That's me and the over 85% of my co-workers. We think that the protesters are basically just assholes. Unlike some people I know who think they are terrorists. That is a little over the top for me.

Trudeau is keeping his head down because he has no power to deal with the situation. He does not control the OPP or the Ottawa police. What needs to happen is impounding the vehicles. Once that starts to happen the other owners will remove theirs from danger and the protest will become just like any other protest. It is the allowing of heavy trucks to be used as campers and street blockers that is a new thing that they haven't had to deal with before. Someone who understands trucks and especially towing them needs to consulted. First a show of force and arrests as needed followed by disabling the vehicles and then removing them.

Neil and those others will all be remembered long after Joe becomes "Joe who?". In the meantime Spotify is deep into damage control and has lost hundreds of million in market cap and some unknown number of subscribers. It's hard to keep paid subscribers. A lot of them are just looking for an excuse to getting around to cancelling. Now some of them have one.

I don't understand why they don't just start arresting and impounding one by one. A show of force and as soon as it got serious most of them will melt away.

I didn't see this Saturday. I crossed the border that day at Emerson MB/Pembina ND. I lost 3 1/4 hours crawling along for 4 miles behind the assholes blocking the highway with something they are calling a "slow roll". But it's all good for me anyway because I'll still make my delivery on schedule in Plant City FL Wednesday AM. The good news is that the company I work for gave us a huge increase in our US mileage bonus that will work out to a net 20% increase in pay for me.

I just noticed that we have a new all time leader in the likes count. And a very deserving younger one at that. It has been a good run for me but I just want to say watch out Bill. When you're at the top all the others want to try you. It gets kind of lonely up there kid.

Pardon my ignorance. My understanding is that my lever action .22 is not semi-auto. Nor was my bolt action rifle.
