  2. Which is most likely the reason he has a bodyguard that packs heat. ... even though he deserves favor, I can see the irony. oh well, this silly little incident doesn't make facts not facts anymore.... he's still informative. "'Someday is not a day in my week'"

  5. I am doing a study actually... was hoping to get input from some of the SC peeps, Im not fully clear on an answer yet. But the list above holds a significance, and I want to know what it is. Just don't be suprised if some of the names on the list end up being thrown around the media in the upcoming years. "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  6. nope, just trying to help people connect the dots... that's all. "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  7. ok, well... thanks for the tips. As far as my knowledge... true I don't know everything but I am well aware of the 20 years of war bred in that state producing the "killing fields"... however... this is not what my thread is about, I'm trying to find the significance of the independant states listed above. I also would like to apologize for my sarcasm, it really was uncalled for... What happened in Cambodia was tragic and brutal. I didn't mean anything by it. Im sorry "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  8. With the locations being as precise as they are, I'm going to say thats a factor. "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  9. Funny you mention Cambodia... I believe it was in November of 1994 the UN had supervised elections there... almost like whats going on in Afghanistan, but yet, you tell me they have mass killings and executions to keep the inhabitants in fear... Is this right? mindblowing.... Are you sure cambodia??? somehow I realllllly don't think so. At least, I realllly hope not, See'ing as how we don't do busniess with people like these..... or do we??? http://www.cptech.org/ip/health/c/agreements/cambodia-1994-ip.html "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  10. They all are (or were) led by governments that will cheerfully butcher their own citizens to stay in power. still are... how would butchering citizens keep one in power??? I'm curious... with the exception of population control, or is that what you meant??? "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  11. yeah, kind of freaks me out that you know this... but do you know why? "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  12. Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia-Herzegovina, China, Democratic Republic of Congo, Cuba, Iraq, Iran, Liberia, Libya, Myanmar (Burma), North Korea, Serbia and Montenegro, Somalia, Sudan, Syria Zimbabwe. anybody??? "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  13. hey windcatcher, I know exactly what you mean, I sort of have the same type of friends. I went by myself to go learn howto skydive, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Sure there were the rocky times feeling all weird cause your by yourself, but human nature is going to grab your ass and start making you communicate with whoever, and most of the time more sooner than later your not going to be alone for long. Trust me, you start making your friends do something their genuinly not intrested in it's going to make your experience 10x worse. All the bitching, and moaning, and the rest off that stuff. Im sitting being a burnt tea-pot calling the kettle black, but... sometimes it's worth it. S'upto you...Camping is a tough one though. Scuba-diving, you get to meet new friends pretty quick. "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  14. well... yes,. I do not see why not? We've been tearing at rights so much it almost seems legal to do so. If it can be taken away from you, it is not a right. I mean, how can you tell somebody they cannot be trusted to vote? Jail time... fine! Community service, even better. Voicing their opinions of where the country needs to be (voting) is no more harmful 17- yrs. and below voicing theirs. It's just more votes... I don't think that this being a state-by-state issue has anything to do with it. Im more concerned that it's happening. Can't really do anything about it, apparently this is the direction the US wishes to go. Im not really affected by this... but it is just something that I think about. "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  15. I do... the thread was just taking a weird turn, "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  16. Unfair! If we required people to pass a class before being allowed to vote, the dead bodies who usually vote democrat would be excluded because none of them has a car to get to school. So your saying a majority of democrats are poor? Government funding would solve the car problem, with ease. hell, you can get a degree on-line. And your response brings me back to my initial point. Why would you say something like that? Why? "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  17. well apparently bearing arms is no longer a right either.... I'm also glad you brought that up because how is it that somebody with a criminal record have their voting RIGHTS revoked??? "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  18. publicize itself through learning techniques.... pass a class to be eligble to vote... Granted, the information is out there, but what good does it do if nobody reads it. "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  19. This thread sucked, Im deleting it "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  20. Is claiming a political party an excuse to beget hatred to fellow americans? I find commonly that when the subject of politics is brought up in a fairly social area, 9 times out of 10 the end result will wind up with someone refusing someone else because they'll wind up classified as a liberal or conservitive, totally dismissing facts. Facts build solutions to arguments, am I the only one who knows this? But what erks me is the level of disgust in someone's eyes of an opposing party. Truth be told, I vote democratic because my lifestyle needs change. If I were to vote republican, that would be saying that I am fine with everything as it is. But when I see people who cannot hold a job, can't feed their kids, can't pay their car note and are working like crazy to keep the wife happy, tell me their voting republican... I can't help to get upset at the ignorance, especially when they start getting mad, not just any ol' mad either, it's like I beat up this person's mother mad... what is this about??? Where does this ignorant republican loyalty stem from? and for the republicans.. do you ever get any similiar reactions from democrats? Why isn't the government doing more to educate the uneducated??? I think high schools should make a mandatory class to break down and disect at least 14 hours of C-SPAN. Can I get a witness??? "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
  21. OMFG!!!! That was the funniest shit I've seen all week... HAHAHHAAAA!!!!!.... that was pretty catchy too. hehehee "'Someday is not a day in my week'"
