Hi, Roy. I think a lot of us are, and this thread is not an easy one to deal with. Irrespective of moderators and hats and whatever, I appreciate that you removed your original post. Can you and Frank work this out in pm's from here on (or maybe ignore each other), so that this thread can be a source of news, info and condolences? I'd see that as a show of respect for those who died, and for HH, as well as the rest of the posters. Per press conference of emergency workers: 8 confirmed patients hospitalized with burns and breathing difficulties, additional 28 unconfirmed patients spread over three counties in Texas. Injuries came from being near debris or touching material. No-one was injuried by falling debris, and there was limited property damage noted so far. It is said again: parts are toxic, and will hurt you. Do not touch. Mark and call local emergency workers. Leave scene immediately. At least 100 debris sites located - from Texas to Louisiana. Pieces range from small fragments to small automobile in size. Larger piece may be in reservoir in Newton county in shallow water. A helmet was found as well as some pieces of uniforms. Can't they compare the programmed stuff with the real actual events? I mean, I guess it's too soon to know for sure, but yes, it's during the bleed the speed portion of the re-entry, and that is when the programmed stuff kicks in. It is my understanding (but I am no rocket scientist) that the computer programs design the carves which take the Shuttle's speed down. Does anyone know if this was a programmed bank or something else? And when you say "onto the left wing", what do you mean? As in it laid over on it's wing, or that it turned to the left? I haven't jumped anything else since coming off AFF, so really can't add more than a resounding "I LOVE IT" to the rest of the far more educated responses that I am sure you'll get. Two clients today, one who saw one place and wrote a full price offer on it... who knows how it will go, but man, that's a good thing. Means a paycheck for March. The other client took me to lunch...seems we have a similar background, except *I'm* the one jumping out of planes while he wants to, just hasn't yet. And far better than the other whuffos, he looked at pix of mine and started asking all kinds of quesitons about AFF v. Tandem progression (which he knew about). Tomorrow's client will be good, too, as she is a referral from a former client. So while I couldn't jump today, I may have earned a paycheck, and two new clients are always welcome! There are still 3 astronauts on the International Space Station. If a shuttle cannot go back up (after the last disaster, it took 2 years to go back up), isn't there a Soyuz escape capsule?
