HI, Kriss. yes, it is possible. Allow them window space. Allow them high places to sleep (like a kitty condo). Do not allow them out again. Give them toys and catnip inside. Create an environment where they prefer in to out, and they will make the switch. Give them lots of love, cuddles, and really yummy food. Keep the litter very clean. I mean very clean. My Charlotte was a feral cat. She had run away from a neighbors house. She was captured by another set of neighbors when she was very very pregnant, and she had the babies. Once the babies were old enough, my neighbors spayed her...and turned her out again. I made friends with her, and she came inside to live with me. For about 6 months, she hid. hated inside. Darted out whenever she could. I did everything I just suggested to you, and now I can actually leave my back door open (no screen) and she won't leave. She prefers it. She even sleeps at the foot of the bed now. Matter of fact, she is sitting on my chair behind my head right now, purring. Yes, Kriss. It's possible. Last week (I think), there was an award given by (some movie org. or other) to "Atticus Finch", the lead character in "To Kill A Mockingbird". It was for the most noble or upstanding character in film. To me, Gregory Peck was Atticus Finch. Some actors are very different from the roles they are known for - and some are similar; yet no-one could've done Atticus Finch as well as Peck - because they were interchangeable. They were one and the same - one real flesh and the other a bag of bones, but real - both... And so it's sad to see someone pass who had such an influence on my life - both Peck and Finch - but it's also a time to remember and to thank God Peck was here. He changed people's thoughts, and made them feel...and that is no small feat. Carey, your father was incredibly special. Hey, Marz... My experience with MS is very limited. However, I have a client with it, and while she is indeed visibly disabled, she does in fact drive, walk well, and can deal with most aspects of her life without problem. I don't think your skydiving is over, but that's my opinion. You should be able to get your DL back, and you should be able to have a somewhat "normal" (whatever "normal" is, anyway) life. I would strongly suggest you look up some MS information, like those contained here in this link. You will learn a lot, and then, ask every question you can think of to your Dr. And yes, thank GOD! it's not a brain tumor. Many hugs coming your way. Many many many hugs. Hiya, Fire... We have several threads in Talk Back which pertain to Roger Nelson's memories and positive tribute (mostly). The Incidents forum is used only to discuss factual data of an incident. Sometimes, speculation (within reason) is acceptable, but people try hard to get first hand info, or second hand if it comes from the DZ O, S&TA, or other credible witnesses accounts to the accident. Should there be a need to post condolences, it needs to go on it's own thread in talkback. Same thing with Vibes and/or Get Well Soon's...if there is an incident and you would like to post a condolence or GWS or Vibe and there is no thread already existing, feel free to start one in Talk Back. This is done so that people don't need to read through the condolences if they are looking for facts, or if in need of condolences, not unexpectedly encounter something they were not prepared for. It is hard, sometimes, to be able to separate yourself from your emotions when a friend/family member gets hurt or dies, and Incidents tries really hard to not be an emotional place...kinda like Friday's line "The facts, just the facts". Most likely because it was getting contentious, and personal, I would suppose. Sometimes, people get upset with comments made by others which would not necessarily bother them otherwise. If it's the thread I am thinking about, maybe because there was a discussion which was getting a tad graphic for such a recent event, and tempers started to get riled? Not being a moderator, I am not sure. Or maybe because there was already three or four threads going (which may actually be the case.) Sometimes, a little breather is a good thing...I am certain this accident will be dissected for many years, with different observations and opinions being discussed very much. You mean Ms. Wall Invader? The pest guy set out some traps. The bait was taken out but the traps were not sprung (them critters are smart). So then the pest guy whips out some very weird concoction made of fox urine, raccoon blood, and raccoon something-else. It is supposed to resemble the smell of a fight between a fox and a raccoon, and give the impression that a natural predator is in the area, and that the raccoon lost the fight. I had zero faith that it would work...but it seems to have done the trick. I haven't heard the overgrown termite noises in the wall in several weeks, nor have I heard cooing in the walls. The cats are still occasionally reacting like something is there, but I can't hear anything, so at this point it's live and let live - or maybe it's really gone and the cats are just psychotic.
