I don't know how to spell it but it was called something like "kerb"... Some kind of shelled seaslug that the natives would dig out of the rocks, shuck from the shell, dip in the ocean, and eat immediately. Apparently it was a delicacy... Didn't taste bad, but the thought of it got my gag reflex going... -

What are your Skydiving Withdraw Symptoms

My symptoms include: Not responding when spoken to (too busy daydreaming about skydiving). Being generally unpleasant. Though before skydiving I still had racing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, etc... and those symptoms still applied -

Reminds me of the herds that form around sales near thanksgiving... Proof that the masses are not much more than advertisement controlled lemmings. Funny to watch them run around like untrained animals, though

I've tried it a couple times... it's "interesting". The key is to drink just enough to appreciate the effects of the wormwood (or at least I think that's what causes the buzz?) without letting them get drowned out by the alcohol. The first time I tried it I just felt drunk (3 or so shots). The second time I did the whole absinthe spoon and glass thing, had two drinks, and felt slightly strange for the next couple hours.

Just got back from CA at 5am or so this morning... Perris was awesome Can't beat sitting by the pool relaxing with a beer with constant canopy traffic to watch overhead. Stayed in the IHOP for 2 nights after making the mistake of assuming the Days Inn would be clean. Met lots of cool people, made 4 very fun jumps, and had an awesome time in the tunnel. I'll definitely have to make it back soon

As a new skydiver myself, I can't offer much advice... but I've jumped the following: Sabre2 190 Sabre2 170 Sabre2 150 Pilot 170 Safire2 149 Out of all of these, the Safire2 is my favorite.

I got a ride in the Pitts S2C @ Skydive Chicago a couple weeks ago... it was awesome. I did feel a little nauseous for a few seconds after some rolls, but it went away quickly and I enjoyed the rest of the flight.

Buy it. You probably won't even remember the jump after landing, and having the video to watch helps to bring it back. Out of all the people I have gotten to do tandems (somewhere around 20), only 2 have skipped the video... and both regret it.
