    My dog is from a shelter... she's awesome. It's amazing that people buy dogs from pet stores while so many healthy, well behaved puppies are stuck in shelters.

    I could be remembering incorrectly... but I swear I read somewhere recently that RWS will now make the Micron for any size canopy. You'll love it either way... my Micron is awesome

    I've jumped both, and the Mirage would be my pick... but they're both good containers. Put some jumps on demos of each and decide for yourself

    A dropzone is an ADULT playground. This is a subject that some friends and I have discussed quite a few times. I personally have no problem with children being on the DZ (provided they are kept under control - something which seems to be a major problem with some of the children brought in by first time tandem students)... but if parents choose to keep their children around after the last load, they should also be prepared to have their children exposed to what happens at the DZ after dark.

    Wow... how the hell did this thread come back? I didn't end up getting those colors. I got lucky and found a used rig that fit me perfectly, had the same options I wanted, and was colored pretty much the same as one of my alternate color scheme ideas... To make the deal even better, it only had about 100 jumps on it I'll post pictures of it whenever I take some...

    Land safe, not close. Pretty much everyone is going to have an off landing every once in a while... they're not a big deal if you plan ahead and pick a safe place to land before you get too low.

    0:9(?):1 I'm 98% sure I got 9 jumps in, but don't have my neptune on me to check First "real" off landing... which also happened to be a crosswind somewhat downwind landing in order to place myself on a grass strip with trees on one side and tall corn on the other. Interesting experience... besides the mile long walk back to the DZ Fun weekend over all, with way too much drinking Saturday night
