my experience was actually the opposite, however i only have two wet canopy jumps, and they both seemed like they sniveled a bit more, for whatever reason both were on a pd254,borrowed from maddog in 04

who here has hands on experience jumping am antenas? i understand that the whole structure is transmitting, and that it is insulated from the ground for a reason, dont complete that circut.. what about the radiation? how serious is it really? how much exposure is acceptable? if you were climbing fast to minimze time on tower, would you be more susceptible due to exertion? i ask, because there is a once in a lifetime,sentimental jump for me, however im pretty sure its am...

personal opinion: youll get more performance from the dt... but if youre doing mostly tandem vids you may want to stick w/a linear console..render time can be a bit prohibitive... not really worth the extra time for 30 bux ya know..?

this thread is ridiculous... yes, a rubber skin, less than a mm thick, of reasonable size filled with water, is a "safe" (relativley speaking) alternative to a tennis ball filled with lead. presuming they fall at the same rate of speed, which they wont... i will be more than happy to try out the "waterball" this weekend

headdown started in the tunnel, as a transitionary move (due to lack of airspeed technology) in the mid-eighties... olav visited flyaway pf a few years later, and took it to the sky... noone really "invented" or is the "father" of headdown.. olav, however certainly helped develop it in its younger years...
