I don't get it. You had the canopy turned facing away from the cliff but continued to back it up more and hit the cliff while you were facing away from it. Is that what happened?

I just quickly read this and I'm not sure what it applies to exactly. It's a post in a Paragliding forum about the NPS accepting public comments on its new 2006 Management Policies proposal. Maybe we should all ask for BASE jumping to be recognized as appropriate park uses without requiring Special Use Regulations. Just a thought. edit: typo

I did a search but the posts I found were from 2002. I think things have changed since then so I'm doing this again. (poll is in lbs/ft^2) What is your reserve wing loading? What reserve (and size) canopy is it? edit to state: Hmm... should this have gone in the gear and rigging forum?
