I don't understand why you're so upset. If they don't know about it, they won't register to read it. Say an incident happens somewhere today. A reporter unfamiliar with skydiving does a Web search and gets to dropzone.com. But in his list of forums, Incidents doesn't appear. He's unaware of its existence. He won't register to gain access. Yes, journalists are going to crawl web pages looking for information. That's their job. Some of them will still stumble across the forum. But we don't have to make it easy for them to use our comments. That hypothesis makes absolutely no sense to me. Skydiving is for cool people only

Would renter's insurance cover gear an airline lost?

If the airline lost or broke your gear during a flight, would your renter's insurance pay for it? The airline will pay almost nothing for lost luggage, and insuring it through them is ridiculously expensive. I doubt, but just wondering. Skydiving is for cool people only -
