Oh really? The crimes of airline employees range from deliberately crashing an airliner to stealing snacks. http://www.murderpedia.org/male.K/k/katagiri-seiji.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EgyptAir_Flight_990 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SilkAir_Flight_185 http://articles.businessinsider.com/2011-08-01/news/29967134_1_pilot-suicide-plane-musi-river http://www.milwaukeecriminaldefenseblog.com/2012/01/airline-employee-in-milwaukee-arrested-accused-of-theft.shtml Larry Carr should read these links. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Whew. That was a very close call Bruce. Glad you didn't take the macho denial option and called 911 at once. I am pleased that we are reading your posting rather than your obituary. Welcome back. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Is someone suggesting that skinny black ties were or will be out of style? If so, that is very threatening to me as I own several. They were standard engineer fashion when I graduated in 72. The young hipsters wear them even today. So can I keep mine? Can I wear them without embarassing my spouse? What do the dropzone fashion police say? 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. total nonsense ... I have always backed the FBI checking KC out - or anyone for that matter. Why would I not be? Where do you get this stuff from? Its time to get real here Robert. [edit] Im waiting . . . why does it always go silent when things get real? tap tap tapping my foot .... waiting for a reply ... 377? ................... waiting . . . going to make coffee . . . still waiting . . . Earth to Blevins ? [edit 1:35am] Have PM'd 377 to see if he is interested in helping get Lyle C dna tested, because 377 has previously said he would be wiling to help in dna testing in the Cooper case. still waiting for any reply from anyone - The offer I had for free DNA testing was limited to Cooper DNA supplied by the FBI. I cant get any deals on testing various suspect's DNA. The FBI may not have run the latest greatest tests on the alleged Cooper DNA that they have. I still wonder if they have better samples than they admit to. Hard to belive that the cig butts would have been discarded. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. I just cant see any real harm in serial versions of BLAST. Who knows, some old lady may read BLAST 3 and recall a renter from 1971 who matches the DBC description, disappeared and never picked up his belongings. We are not solving the crime. We need new information and new sources. New publications reach new audiences. Blevins has more last forum appearances and last books than Cher has had last concerts. I don't hold it against him. A guy is entitled to change his mind, right? Sheridan Peterson and Ted Braden are still worth a further look. I hope Bruce develops more info on both. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Your Versace poster is another creative masterpiece Farflung. There are some Carly Simon photos that might have been good choices for the Limpet section. Keep up the good work. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Georger wrote Talk about a POOF! Wow, wonder why it was pulled? Copyright hassles or an elaborate and sinister conspiracy? Google is now in control of history, it figures. Georger wrote about Blast III Nah. The FBI isn't that rational. If an edgy New York journalist with solid credentials shows up, files will open. If a hot blonde with a compelling Cooper story shows up... You know how it goes. JT sure has been quiet. What's up Jerry? 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. In March 2012 issue of AIRWAYS magazine, an aviation publication. Good writeup on the symposium. Has a nicely done sub article on Donna and her Ariel Store DB Cooper party. It's copyrighted and currently on sale so I can't post it here. It's well written and entertaining. Has a great photo of Marla next to the winner of the tavern's DB Cooper look alike contest. Nice photo of Donna too. http://www.airwaysmag.com/ 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Couldnt the Bohan report just be based on a calculation error by the crew? GPS wasnt operational in 1971. They didnt have INS or Doppler Nav (which can give a direct readout of windspeed and direction when interfaced with the air data computer), so wouldnt a wind speed estimate require some sort of calculation involving airspeed, groundspeed (from DME) and some vector calcs involving indicated heading and course made good? I don't think they had a readout that gave windspeed and direction, but I could be wrong. What do the forum pilots have to say? 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Jo wrote Jo this device was quite sophisticated and far far beyond the ability of Duane to make. They were made in the USSR for covert ops and were not available in tbe US until after the USSR fell apart. The output was not tactile. The user had to detect nulls using headphones or looking at a signal strength indicator. Although made for stealth, it was rather big and bulky. You might be able to conceal it under a big winter coat, but probably not under ordinary business garb. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

You can read that gobbly gook or is this a joke! No joke Jo. It's real. I was very surprised to find that such a contraption existed. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Believe it or not the Soviets actually made something that sorta fits that wacky description, a radio direction finder for spy use designed for concealment under clothing. It covered 59-150 MHz which would include OMNI navigation stations and VHF airplane communication frequencies. http://photo.qip.ru/users/otrok/4033527/?page=1 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Jo, many people throw things off bridges. It's not so unusual. You don't know what Duane threw off the bridge. Just a bag. Melvin Wilson threw a lot of incriminating evidence off a bridge Billy Jo McAllister did too. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

And if you encounter hail, it can bash in the leading edges of your wings and stabilizers. In other words, the airframe is now junk. Trust me... you have not lived till you are in freefall with the same stuff hitting your face at 130 MPH.... that will make your day kinda interesting. Even rain drops hurt like hell in freefall... I mean you are hitting all the pointy ends since you are going down so fast Back in the early 70s I was on a load that jumped through rain. The rain stung but all of a sudden it hurt like hell. We had fallen through a bit of hail. We all looked like hell on landing, bloodied faces. Turned out that the wounds were very superficial. Never again. I once got an absolutely killer deal on a near new car, 6800 miles and still under warranty. It had been in a New Mexico hailstorm. The entire body was heavily dimpled. The insurance company totalled it. Must have been huge hailstones. Odd in that the paint was 100% intact. No chips or breaks in the finish. It was a real conversation piece when I was getting gas. I said it was a factory prototype for a drag reduction experiment patterned after golf ball surfaces. I put another 170,000 delightful miles on that bargain car. 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver. Trained by the late Perry Stevens D-51 in 1968.

Farflung wrote He might have had one of those Duane Weber transistorized back brace back brace tactile flight directors. Georger wrote Sure is! I am enjoying and learning from Naturehomid's School of Localized Weather Variations. Also glad to hear that Sluggo is still kickin. Thanks Tom. Marla seems to have vanished from the vortex. She burned so brightly then faded and fell, like Janet's flare. Will be making some more radio jumps on March 3. I've been using VHF ham gear but might try a 70's vintage CB walkie talkie just for kicks. Breaker breaker, whos got a copy on this here SKYJACKER? 377 2018 marks half a century as a skydiver.
