Do this. ^ DO NOT DO THIS ^ No you would not. You are starting off on the wrong foot in this sport when you have the attitude that "cheating" is OK. IT IS NOT! The sport is littered with hurt and dead people over-stretching their limits...all stemming from that "I can get away with it" attitude. Don't be one of them. I'd like to see you become an OLD skydiver. Sorry, I didnt know it'd be considered that bad. I heard of people fudging numbers before so I thought it was just one of those things. It's just that I'd hate to weigh 241 for something with a 240lb weight limit. Id rather just say Im 239 you know? But if it's really that bad of a thing to do than I'll just lose the few pounds. You can fudge up until the point when they ask you to step on the scale. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Ya know.. I just noticed that they stub the nose like we learned in Step 4, but then it looks pointy again in the rest of the the steps. That stub nose is what makes it work well... Well, that and the torn/folded up (elevators or ailerons since its a single wing). Used to love taking a ream of paper up to the roof and changing the configuration a little to go for distance and aerobatics. Course, this was all before the apps attack when we used to have to go outside and play. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

As mentioned... Mostly Cessna operations. I used to jump with several of the Pegasus instructional staff at Skydive Dallas; but have never been to their DZ. OSC has a good vibe and trains a lot of students. Skydive Airtight (as mentioned) was an off-shoot of what used to be Green Country Skydivers. Lloyd went down to the other side of the airport and I opened Tulsa Tandems. Skydive Airtight remained and is now owned by Stoobie. Good staff, good people, fun jumps, long history from the past as far back as the nationals in Muskogee and Tahlequah. Used to work at Skydive Tulsa when it was up in Catoosa/Claremore and still know quite a few of the folks there which is now in Haskell, OK. A lot of people will jump locally and then do at least a once a month road trip to SDD to get the turbines, load-organizing and discipline-specific training. Hope that helps.
