Just a suggestion. I don't like to see the young bloods spending a lot of money on something they are unsure of while at the same time trying to progress. Talk to the tunnel staff and then check out some of the suits here. http://www.dropzone.com/classifieds/Jumpsuits/index.html Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

The skydiving industry has become Billvon at its research methodology. Stainless riser rings with standard hardware?

I bring this up as to what you may have heard in the past. My knowledge and experience in this area comes more from a weapons background. Back in the early days (early 80's) of the popularity of stainless steel, steel, chrome, nickel plated metal matching; there was an issue known as "Galling." This galling occurred when two mismatched metal constantly rubbed on each other which began the microscopic level of pitting. Pitting of course leads to corrosion; which once started was hard to stop in areas of high humidity. There are something like 50 grades of stainless steel and the harder the grade, the less likely the galling process was to start. Add to that; that one could help minimize the galling process by using a better lube (one of the reasons for not using WD-40 on your weapons - its not a lube). Lubing not something one wants to do on their three rings. I am not comfortable making any kind of recommendation when it comes to your situation, but I personally would be more inclined to be concerned if it were chrome rings against stainless steel. Since we're now in the area of metallurgy... would recommend that you wait to get a definitive answer from the manufacturer or a Billvon type. No warrent needed as is it covered under the bill. But it is a mistake of course http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2020373291_westneat17xml.html So the pro gun side is complaining that the current laws are not enforced, but when they are, thats bad too? Nice double standard No Double Standard. In the US; entering a home without a warrant is against the law. And, my thanks to the gentleman on the other side of the aisle for surfacing the issue. Nope. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simo_Häyhä Our history (USA) Not Finland's history. Sheesh DZ.COM is not a US web site. Sheesh! Is that why our countries are expressed under "our" Avatar's name? As in the author of the reply? Let's re-focus back on Chris, please. I'm at fault also. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

Easy enough... Once the tandem was no longer "experimental,' the Tandem Manufacturers wanted out of the rating business (mounds of paperwork, tracking & time which the USPA already has a system for) and have the examiner train on the specific type so as to be in compliance with the FAR.
