  2. >>>Here's a link to the site about the ongoing research into Fracking: http://www2.epa.gov/hfstudy Looks vaguely familiar to the study in post #16 Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  3. Yeah, but does your bagger have the added option.... pic Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  4. You will dehydrate about 5 times faster on the bike. Pre-hydrate (overhydrate) for three days before the trip to saturate the muscle tissue. Overhydrate at each gas stop (assume 100 Miles). Semi loose fitting clothing that you can toss water on to keep you cool.
  5. The FARK, YOU SAY!!! Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  6. Not so much the Constitution as much as "Shield Laws" which vary from state to state and not all states' have them. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  7. OK We'll go with that. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  8. If you are an active skydiver; you do NOT need any drama permeating your brain. Emotional baggage is not only a drain on our physical and mental well-being; but can be a serious safety issue. That's why you should cutaway from anything that steals your focus. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  9. Here's the list: http://fracfocus.org/chemical-use/what-chemicals-are-used Here's one of many EPA studies on the subject: http://www2.epa.gov/hfstudy/hydraulic-fracturing-water-cycle There is an on-going and continuing study of the "Plan to Study the Potential Impacts of Hydraulic Fracturing on Drinking Water Resources." And, while Oklahoma has been "Frac'ing" since the 1950's, we are just now starting to see some of the "other" effects such as earthquakes... http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/energy/2013/03/130329-wastewater-injection-likely-caused-quake/ Now, on top of "just" the chemical and groundwater issue; we have to take it a step further... If we look at the New Madrid Fault Line coupled with that of a fracking well location map, the question really becomes, "Is the New Madrid Mega Quake Being Engineered?" So, we are left with three equally disparate views; one of self-reliance, one of reliance on foreign resources and one of embarking on new energies. My position on the matter is that we have the ability to migrate towards new and sustainable energy, but in virtually all cases; the need for impact studies and a scientific methodology as we move towards self-reliance. Again, this is not a left or right issue.. this is a "We" issue. Oklahoma being one of the best areas for case studies on what "may" happen sixty years from now. We have the ability to look back and project forward... let's use that. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  10. "Ya know, I still don't understand why Lance Armstrong was stripped of his titles for doing drugs. I think the guy's a fucking magician. I couldn't even FIND my bike when I was doing drugs." ~Unknown Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  12. Gorilla; (Noun) - A powerfully built great ape (Gorilla gorilla) with a large head and short neck, found in the forests of central Africa. Guerrilla; (Noun) - A member of a small independent group taking part in irregular fighting, typically against larger regular forces. First Pic is a Gorilla. Second Pic is a Guerilla. 13. On each of their sites is a "Contact US" tab. I know it requires one more click and an email, but maybe if you did one per day; it wouldn't be such a burden. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  14. After reading it several times, I'm left with the impression of post-coital regret. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

    Creeper sex?

I'm thinking Real Doll with some roller bearings on it.... Nah.. that'd never work. No one would get off the creepers and go skydiving. PIC NSFW Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  16. I think I just heard an amazing number of keyboards rush to flirt with the new blonde on DZ.com. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  17. From overly flirtatious behavior to.... http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=643272#643272 From Post #3 of that same thread. I have always said you can't conduct a solid demographic study on skydivers. I have jumped with hardcore goodie-two-shoes and I have jumped with total degenerates. That's how it is in this sport. In whatever aspect of your life, you should be careful. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  18. >>>>she has been fucking up the reporting for almost two years now That's about a year and 11 months too much time invested in generating bad data, donchya think? Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  19. Listened to KMOD (pronounced "commode" here in Tulsa) for years... Always, some version of "Just how big a boy are ya?" while on a tirade of whuppin someone's ass. Definitely a way to start your morning with a laugh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YFY6XLH6Tvk Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  20. >>>>My concern is the low timers on the jump that then feel like they have to and are not comfortable with it. Would you speak up right then and there? Yes. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  21. >>>put my hands on braces just after deployment so i should be able to control/stop line twist Please discuss this with your Instructors. They may have instruction about preventing your hands from getting caught in the twists which would prevent your ability to perform emergency procedures. Your first two dives sound like most. Welcome to skydiving and have fun. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.
  22. Avon Skin-so-Soft Bath Oil first... Lotion second. (their lotion is better than their bug repellent). Folks in these here parts bathe their dogs in the bath oil. Nobody has time to listen; because they're desperately chasing the need of being heard.

  24. >>> I'd just like to know is there any difference with a USPA-Member DZ/School in the US vs. USPA-Member DZ/school in Asia? There should be no difference. Both pledge to teach according to the USPA training methodologies which can be found here: http://www.uspa.org/SIM/Read/Section4/tabid/166/Default.aspx And, everything else contained in the Student Information Manual (SIM): http://www.uspa.org/SIM.aspx Having said that, I would contact the USPA to ensure the school in Asia is, in fact; a USPA Group Member. Check here first: http://www.uspa.org/FindaDZ/GroupMemberListbyCountry.aspx And then check with: Deborah Groce Group Membership & Membership Services groupmembers@uspa.org Finally, I'm sure someone from Perris will be along shortly to add to what I've shared. 25. All good thoughts and input above. One thing I will add is that "if" you should choose to be Diver Driver; (in my opinion) pilots who skydive made better skydiving pilots... BUT, if you do go that route, know that being a 182 driver on a smaller DZ is much more of a grind than an otter, casa or van driver.
