  1. Ya, a little cyanide pill waiting to explode.... thanks a lot God
  2. If you believe the "far right" subscribes to a criminal punishment system as described above, then the name of your world would be "fantasyland". Then show me some far righters critical of the pig function. Hell, they get all pissy when I refer to cops as pigs.... semantics, who cares?
  3. Even on the far right I find it hard to justify the death of a mother because she passed a fake prescription. What happens if a kid lifts an apple from a market store - shoot him in the back of the head? Parking tickets - compulsary death penalty? Man - I wouldn't want to live in that world. And what if the 1-year old was killed that was in the back seat of her car? Would the poor pig's ego justify that too? He testified he knew the infant was back there, so he pointed at the woman's chest. Question is, how did he shoot her in the back of the arm, going thru her heart. The defense attny claimed the time delay between the point where he decided to shoot and the point of the shot was why the delay. So if he's that clouded that he can't change his mind as to whether or not to shoot then he shouldn't be a pig. Truth is, 3 witnesses testified that the pig ran after the fleeing car and drew and shot as her charged from behind the car. Now the question is about how I know that, must have heard it on the news, news is all liberal...blaaa-de-blaa-blaa... I watched 3 days of the trial in person and was filled in by others there while I wasn't there, but I did watch the witnesses testify.
  4. Ya, that coxyc thing that is called a tailbone once carried a tail, as all vestigle organs go. Oh, but it's Jebus's way of testing faith....
  5. Your opinon and it is based off of a personal experince that you clearly are deeply personally involved in...You have used this same story (With no proof) several times. You assume that if one cop is bad they all are. That is false thinking. Unlike you, I have no problem with criminals caught in the act who refuse to surrender being shot. Unlike you, I have no problem with criminals caught in the act who refuse to surrender being shot. Even for misdemeanor flight? This mother of 3, with a 1-year old in the back seat was gunned down because she fled after she was likely going to be cited for passing a false prescription, a misdemeanor. And Ron might remark as to the decay of society, well Ron, mommies getting shot intheback by our pigs in blue in witnessed by our future generations, who will in turn grow up with this message. Your opinon and it is based off of a personal experince that you clearly are deeply personally involved in... It's based upon a lifetime of experiences and I'm not anywhere close to a criminal. I'm a process server and am going to be a nurse, so I'm continually having NCIC checks done. I work in aviation, so I'm continually donating piss for testing. I went to Comm College and ASU for a BS in Justice, where I was fortunate enough to sit with mostly pigs and pig wanna-bee's who laughed at the same Constitution you guys brag about. Don't wanna beleive me, OK. They were especially critical of the 4th, that goes w/o saying. But if it ws there liberty or privacy on the block... well, that's different. You have used this same story (With no proof) several times. If I were going to make it up I would do better thna this. http://www.ahwatukee.com/afn/community/articles/021108a.html http://arizona.indymedia.org/print.php?id=4228 http://the_phoenix_news.tripod.com/ib100058.html http://www.azcentral.com/news/articles/0124evlovelace-ON.html AND LOVELACE'S SUIT AGINST ALL THE PEOPLE I TOLD ABOUT: http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/docket/civil/caseInfo.asp?caseNumber=CV2004-092518 - of course no attorney would touch it - HIS 1ST CRIMINAL TRIAL, THROWN OUT ON A GRNAD JURY TECHNICALITY http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/docket/criminal/caseInfo.asp?caseNumber=CR2002-099534 HIS ACTUAL TRIAL WHERE HE WAS ACQUITTED http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/docket/criminal/caseInfo.asp?caseNumber=CR2003-015458 You assume that if one cop is bad they all are. Some of his buddies are reported to call him, "Lovelace the lowlife." But they pretty much all support the notion of police immunity from criminal prosecution, which does make them generally bad. I have met a couple bright spots in law enforcement, but most enjoy the immunity. BTW, this is Chandler's finest - rookie of the year. But that was 4 years before his first killing.
  6. Why would one think that after the pigs were let go? That's what I mean, the courts refuse to side with the people so as to keep the pigs on their side. For all that don't know, the Louima case involves out our lovely pigs in blue (NY in this case) shoving a toilet plunger up the ass of this suspect as an interogative technique. I wonder if lawrocket wants punitive damages capped for civil cases now?
  7. Not at all. I can post details of our city's murderer if you like the details. Why not reply to substance of police immunity from the law? Isn't that 1/2 of what this issue is about; cops shooting people and will they be exonerated?
  8. Dude, I think it's great that you like to post inflammatory material identifying cops as pigs, or comparing America to the Nazis, or whatever else you post, but could you PLEASE not re-quote ENTIRE news articles or other lengthy posts unnecessarily? Why force people to scroll through material repetitively when you could quite easily chop it down a little. Just think -- you could save a few pixels of phosphorus AND get your points across more effectively at the same time! Wow! Your habit of re-quoting entire news articles and other material without cause is bad netiquette and a sign of plain old laziness. I'll tell ya what, to ease yer pain I'll omit from the quoted text what I post as a quote in bold. To me, it makes reading the quote and my reply easier for the reader when I post quotes in bold - it shows contrast. Your habit of re-quoting entire news articles and other material without cause is bad netiquette and a sign of plain old laziness. When I reply I don't read the entire post, just take each a sentence or paragraph at a time so as to keep things in context. I posted that last sentence promising to remove from the quote what I post in bold b4 I read this insult, so I will keep doing it the way Ihave been.
  9. I love how people also forget that these people are criminals that are running from the law. Don't wanna get in trouble? Don't break the law. If you do break the law don't run, or try to kill a cop. I love how people also forget that these people are criminals that are running from the law. And many criminals run the law. If you do break the law don't run, or try to kill a cop. Run and be killed/murdered.
  10. Considering.... 1. That same murdering pig, who was my neighbor, helped a real estate broker rob my house 8 days prior to murdering that lady. I spoke with the lovely man 3 days b4 he smoked her. 2. After the robbery ocurred, I tried to make a report with his pig station, they refused to hear it or even take it. No report - no crime. 3. I filed an internal invest report and spoke with an IA agent for 40 mins, he told me there was a crime committed, but that the prosecutor wouldn't act on it so why write it? He refused to write it. 4. The pig was allowed out on 50k bond for 2nd degree and felony child endangerment, which I believe was put up by the pig association. I know that his defense was paid for by the pig association to the tune of 40-50k with expert witnesses. 5. The police chief, who was a scumbag in his own right, was forced to retire after this pig's killing, his 2nd in as many years. 6. Now the victimized pig wants his job back and has filed a 1 million dollar suit against that very chief, the prosecutor, the city, the county, and about 13 of his fellow cops that made statements against him at trial or on docs. 7. The city is mulling it over, but protesting it very adamently. Oh, and the AZ police Licensing board refused to revoke anything, so the 2 time killer could be hired with a different agency now. Do you get it? Is it this murdering pig? Is it this state? Is it the courts? Was it the jury? It's pretty much all of it - this pig love or fear is what allows these killings to go on. Conservatives, who often love the pigs, often talk of personal responsibility - let's see it.
  11. And that is at least part of what this thread is about, right? Isn't this about punitive damages? My point: Gross negligence lawsuits currently lead to punitive damage awards - punitive damage awards lead to people thinking twice, right? Is that deterrence? Again, I think the Whole concept of deterrence is BS, but I was makingthe comparison that the people who do subscribe to criminal deterrence theory are the same that reject punitive damages. Regardless of whether punitive awards stem from negligence awards or not, which I believe they can, the general concept of deterrence is a one-way street many times with fiscal elitists that feel they won't be criminally prosecuted so they subscribe to criminal deterrence theory, yet they disavow punitive damages that I consider to be civil deterrence. Question: You're the lawyer, can Gross Negligence lawsuits lead to punitive awards? If not, what kind of lawsuits lead to punitive damage awards? Ah, but these torts open the door to punitive damages. I have a slick attorney who gets a punitive damages award for $500,000 against you. (You don't think this stuff has happened? Think again.) I know it happens, but whether it's 50k or 500k I would likely bankrupt, as would most other people. If the pendulum swings the other way and punitive damages are essentially extinct, then people would be more likely to act with libel, slander and every other Woldn't a verdict like that piss YOU off? Is a verdict like that fair? Shouldn't verdicts like that be capped or policed by the federal courts? Piss me off - depends upon the deserving nature of it. If I did something really egregious, I could see it. Fair - fair is subjective. I think I a person did something horrible, punitive damages are fair. Capped or policed by the courts - How many people are convicted of capital crimes and the courts fail to police it? People have been wrongfully executed while the courts an out Commander in Chimp make jokes about it, so life and liberty are more important than property. Sure, it would be nice if things were always equitable, but that’s utopian. Look, it comes down to this, people that have money fear civil litigation, especially punitive damages as they are the wildcard. People that don’t have money love the concept of making a rich person/corp pay for their dirty deeds, so it’s a paradigm issue, not a fairness issue. Let me win the lottery and join the elitist perspective.
  12. HEADLINES: Dirty Murdering Pig Walks Officer Lovelace, a former neighbor of mine, shot a mother of 3 from a semi-affluential area in the back of the arm (thru her heart) while she was driving away after trying pass a forged prescription at a Walgreen's. He was tried for 2nd degree murder after 3 witnesses and expert testimony substantiated that she was never driving toward him, but that he chased her from behind and shot her in the back of the arm, thru her heart. Of course he was exonerated, like every good murdering pig will be, so will this one. Why the 2 extra shots? He fell back, but as the article states, there is only one person testifying; smart police work - dead people don't testify. The reason pigs are generally exonerated is due to the fact that local and state governmental agencies want the pigs in their corner in the event of any civil unrest and exonerating them for killing people that don't matter is perfect for this. If the courts and general government were tough on cops who commit crime, some cops would wander over to the civilian sector when it comes to choosing sides. Cops = King's henchmen
  13. What I like is the refutation of carbon, isotope and other dating techniques for fosils, but for religious paraphernalia it's legitimate.
  14. Now I get it, the Bible is a giant word jumble!!! Now the Bible has some actual value!!!
  15. or it might be that those whose profession is pattern analysis recognize that if you predefine your pattern by the results you expect acheive you will find answers in the water stains under your refrigerator... but then the lord speaks in mysterious ways... even through the voices of dogs....if your willing to believe what they have to say... The Son of Sam did and look where it got him..... don't listen to the damn dogs!
  16. Actually there are a multiple predictions, including those of 9/11 that are quite specific. Names of world leaders are included, past and present. Interestingly enough, the journalist (who writes the book in first person) does not claim to be a Christian, yet his findings are quite remarkable. It's always the religious prophets that claim they knew of horrible events, but after the fact. Why didn'tthey inform everyone? Was it God's plan to kill 3k people and to interfere would be blasphemous? KInda cheapens the whole thing when people come up after the fact and say the Bible predicted it 2k years ago.
  17. I guess the burden falls upon those that wish to promote the Bible and religion. Are you going to get a degree in anthropolgy and spend the next 10 years studying it due to someone suggesting Darwinian evolution to be valid? Hardly, so show us the poop. I could send the same back to you by asking if you know Latin well enough to read the Tora (?). It's faith, please don't demand we assume it to be fact.
  18. That doesn't explain anything. You can believe that "God is", but it still doesn't explain what God is or where it came from (though not being able to explain it doesn't necessarily mean that God does not exist). This is the only logical approach to the entire issue of beginings. Cliches are fun, but don't answer questions. Problem is, people stretch faith into being fact, which is dellusional.
  19. That's interesting... My teacher seemed to actually believe this book... He also mentioned that he believes in God and that he doesn't believe in the Big Bang theory... his reason being that no one can explain where the stuff came from that caused the Big Bang... which is a legitimate argument... but, umm... Where did God come from??? I can see I'm going to be arguing with him a lot this semester... I call that the default theory - you can't prove any form of beginings, so there must be a Jesus. I can see I'm going to be arguing with him a lot this semester... And getting a bad grade The main thing with religion vs science is.... Science begs you to prove them wrong; religion dares you to. Who wants to be part of a club that slaps your hand everytime you question things? Aside from that, procreation, evolution (from apes), big bang and all other forms of beginings have yet to be substantially supported, so to make an absolute claim is futile.
  20. Interesting topic on a futile subject. Funny how a book written by a few deceased, unknown authors gets so much press for so long. Great marketing. I like the spot0on, keen predictions that always come out after the fact of an event. I only wish Vegas would let me do the same. And if you ask for future predictions the only answers you will receive are ones that pertain to vague time frames of sometimes 100's of years and vague venues that consist of entire continents or even more. Jean Dixon isn't even that far off. Either way, no slam to anyone meant here, just vocalizing nausea on the subject of Jebus. Predictions of future events, politicians, assassins, the holocaust, natural disasters, etc.... all came out in somewhat cryptic messages, easier to interpret after the fact, of couse. Ya, it's mathematical deduction when you have the sum, but the X is unknown which can be filled in afterthe fact.... Other predictions about things to come, like the apocalypse, were all written in a non-deterministic way though, because they depend on our choices and are not set in stone. Something to the effect of "it can be changed" was part of the messaging. So the X can be changed based upon the outcome... Also, there was supposedly an ex-agency American guy who thought the whole was a scam, so he tried to write his own program to debunk the whole thing and ended up proving the mathematician right... If it was so right, then how is it that the formula must be re-figured after every major event? The Christian movement likely buys people's reputations to espouse this, "I used to be a non-believer, now I just know there's a Jebus" BS. All you have to do is become a PhD in anthropology, science, or any secular field and sell your reputation, one-time to the righties to denounce your 20+ years schooling for the Bible. Good post and info though - very objective.
  21. Ok, maybe I missed it, but I didn't see anything that made him a wuffo. Maybe he's an avid skydivier, but just didn't say so in the article. Hmmmmmm.
  22. Things shouldn't be classified as safe or not safe, as life isn't black/white. There are degrees of safe and danger and I think skydiving is as safe as you make it. You read about some tool ook-turning with 85 jumps, whereas some girl in the USPA mag had 3000 jumps without a chop, so they are essentially in different sports. I think with moderate safety practiced, skyding is very safe. Don't pull lower than 3500, take reasonable care of your gear, pack carefully, etc... I'm a trash packer, so I up the odds when I can't find a packer, which up the danger a bit. Other than that, I showthe sport great respect - pull a bit high most of the time.
  23. I wonder why they could teach this stuff 20 and 30 years ago but not now? Are our kids more depraved? Is the old cop out, "the sign of the times" crap perhaps? Or is it that society has become so greedy and anti-social that people realize that getting ahead is not realistic, so they turn to desperate measures? Funny how we continue to attempt to fix the problem by throwing bandaids at the symptoms.
  24. Russia you have got to be joking.......One word for ya CHINA!!!!!!!!..........Theres gonna be some very serious competition for resources coming up. No, they have a marriage that is solidifie by their ideology - which makes them that much more dangerous. When we partnered with Russia in WWII we split after it was over due to ideological diffs - About 2 months ago CNN reported that China and Russia are in the works to plan military operations. It's perfect for them, Russia has the military knowledge and China has the manpower and financial backing. And there will be little bickering since they are aligned ideologically.
  25. Do you believe that an armed society is a polite society? I do, so why can't we say an armed world is a polite world? What stopped the Cuban Missle Crisis? Was it the fear of WWIII ending in the exchange of Nukes? Sure. The US will have to curb its Imperialistic ways if the world is armed, so that is one of the upsides. But I do see the damgers, as smaller countries have a greater propensity to shoot before all other possibilities have been exhausted. Get used to it folks, all these little things we biy that are made in Chona are going to fule the Chinese-Russian war marrige.... maybe this little American fiscal move to ship our manufacturing to China was a bad ides in more ways that just lowering corporate costs.....
