He's the John Browning of the second half of the century. You do know who he is, right? I have an AR-15 and don't care who he is - you don't have one and do know who he is..... ... I like my position better Your reading comprehension sucks and you prefer to remain ignorant, while I am happy with my choice of firearms and continue educating myself... Nope, I like my position better. See, this makes DZ.com's rules a joke and draws obvious attention to the fact that they're absolutley subjective. Could it bo more obvius that the rules are for anyone with a conservative message to write what they want. In a recent post, Kennedy wrote something about calling me an assbag w/o even a public admonishment. Here it is from my perspective: 1. Retaliate and be suspended 2. Draw attention to it and be called a whiner 3. Write the greenies and be told it's not an attack - but then return it to the conservtaives and rule 1,2, and 3 apply. Let's get this straight - I'm not offended and prefer to exchange niceties like this. What I am offended by is the blatant actions of the greenies that overlook this stuff and penalize me when I return the serve. Actually it has been Biil so far that has done this, so I don't want to include them all.

Step 1: study world history and have a general understanding of history, it will help enrich your life and keep you from looking kinda uneducated while discussing items. Step 2: when in doubt, google. I'd suggest for you to try step 2. Step 1: study world history and have a general understanding of history, it will help enrich your life and keep you from looking kinda uneducated while discussing items. Step 2: when in doubt, google. I'd suggest for you to try step 2. Step 1: Realize that on DZ.com, conservatives violating the rules on personal attacks don't apply unless they attack someone equally or more conservative. step 2: When in doubt as to whether what you write is a personal attack, go ahead and write what you want - you'll be given a special hug in PM and politely asked not to do it anymore. I'd suggest you do whatever you want; as an extreme conservative you have immunity from reprimand. As for thinking you're superior in intellect, if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy to think that you're superior in all areas, you are welcome to it; the rest of us will realize we all have intelligence in our areas and others' in theirs. I'm working on my second degree, so I'm not too intellectually threatened by you. Now, the question was....... "SO what other kind of law would we use - God's law? If so, that is scary - Salem again and again. Society is supposed to progress, not regress."

Man, why oh why do folks have to reference Nazi's and Hitler and such when trying to argue on the internet? Don't they know that the large majority of the time instead of helping their arguement it kills the thread? Hell, I've been guilty of it, but it still cracks me up Personally, I blame the assholes in Ur that screwed up our society from the get go, leading us down the road of written law that has held us under the man since then. hehe...I'm sure someone will get the reference, atleast I hope. Man, why oh why do folks have to reference Nazi's and Hitler and such when trying to argue on the internet? Don't they know that the large majority of the time instead of helping their arguement it kills the thread? It's good to have abstract extremes in which to draw comparison or contrast. Just think, in 20 or 30 years they'll be using America the same way! Personally, I blame the assholes in Ur that screwed up our society from the get go, leading us down the road of written law that has held us under the man since then. Ur, is that UK? Not picking spelling, just wondering. SO what other kind of law would we use - God's law? If so, that is scarry - Salem again and again. Society is supposed to progress, not regress.

Ya right, with the Homophobe Amendment in the works, the 28th, it appears homosexuality is on the way out. I mean these gays will certainly quit their behavior if a federal amendment is passed. Hmmm, I'm thinking that whatever the hetero community thinks about gays doesn't even register to the gays. I dunno, let's ask Tinky Winky or Pat Robertson; they seem to be most attuned to what the gay community is doing.

...unprotected sex is bordering on suicidal. I agree, but so is jumping out of airplanes.

If the case is a hard one to solve, then sometimes ANYBODY will do. Like some stoned pot smoking drifter that nobody likes anyway. There are too many people on death row who don't belong there for the simple reason that they didn't commit the crime. "Innocent until proven guilty" is only on paper, anyone who's ever been arrested knows they're guilty unless proven innocent by either a really smart expensive lawyer or a sheer act of God. Yeah, I'd like to ice this guy too, but the way I feel about it isn't my best rational judgement. Lock him up and throw away the key, he probably will be ass fucked to death inside of six months anyway. I didn't write that quote. I may have responded to it. This is precisely the problem with most capital cases, the crimes involved are so horrific (victims are children, the elderly, pregnant women, on duty cops, etc.) that our judgement gets clouded. I wouldn't that most capital cases involve these types of people. Men get murdered a whole bunch too. I wonder what the split is? I totally agree withthe rest of your statement, which is why much of the rest of the world has vacated the DP. As for drifters and the poor getting sent to death row, almost exclusive, which is why many of the rich like the DP; they feel it will deter those poor people from killing them, whne the truth is that rich people kil too.

Not only that but she denounced the entire "rescue" saying it was grandstanded for pub.

You mean like the confessions of suspents that are tortured into confessing? Think it doesn't still happen? The Louima case isn't that old. Those are emotional, knee-jerk reactions, which are easy to do, but it's nat rational to execute everyone that smells a little guilty knowing full well that many errors will be made. Furthermore, as people have written above, it degrades society when you promote killing people, even peoplelike this. Remember that thing your parents told you about lowering yourself to the low standards of others?
-
Better hope he's not a member of this forum or that's a personal attack I'm joking
-
That's part of the problem, too many appeals. Give em one appeal in the proper venue and with a competent attorney, then let the community determine the penalty if the conviction is upheld. A case I often cite is the Ray Krone case where he had 2 trials by jury - 2 convictions. Spent 2 years aon death row and 8 years in prison on top of that. Finally took 3ook from his family to do their own investigation to get a judge to throw it our. See, our system did it's designed job and almost killed a guy; think it's the only time? It's a circular argument to say we should abbreviate the system/process, then talk about more safeguards. Either we need to decide that killing innocent people is OK, or we need to abolish the DP. Horrific countries (jk) like Russia have come to that conclusion, why don't we? Answer is in many places, but primarily that rich people don't get executed, rich people make laws. Also, the US is bent on revenge rather than compassion, so it's just par.
-
Also, one could make an argument that the death penalty is a spiritual burden on society, because as part of society we are somewhat responsible for the acts of society. Many people aren't too fond of the idea of breaking the "do not kill" commandment. That's a very ornate way to state that. Well out.
-
Please...
-
To a degree, I could agree with that logic, however, why should they also continue to be allowed to be a burden on society for the rest of their lives? The costs are far greater to prosecute for cap pun than for life, so theburden goes the other way.

You're kidding, right? http://world.guns.ru/assault/as16-e.htm No, and I looked at the site and saw no reference to that....

Whoa - commie ammo in the AR-15? I'm not sure Mr. Stoner would approve. Steel core, no longer available, but grandfathered in...... who's Mr. Stoner?
-
I have an AR-15, but it's an odd one - it's a .762x39. I know they come in 9mm too, but I have some good ammo so I bought this one. Many people find the caliber undesireable, but I like it and ot a good price on it.

Your contempt and disrespect towards the police pollute any reasonable argument you might make. You should stop while you're behind. - Jim Hmmmmmmm, I wonder how the parents of the the PIGS first killing would feel if they read this thread? They would probably make my posts look like lemonaide. He was a fantastic son of a doctor, U of A college kid and the pig was chasing a stolen vehicle but couldn't let his precious ego allow the truck to go, evenafter dispatch told him to let it go. So the stolen truck, with the pig close behind, ran a red and killed the 19 YO college kid in the intersection. Of course the blame all goes to the driver of the stolen truck, right? Typical pig-loving statement. Well, the city claimed no wrongdoing, but paid 1.4 to the mom and 1.4 to the dad. Ya, corporations and people pay out millions when they're not wrong all the time. Then 1 1/2 years later the pig helps some brokers rob my house and then 8 days later murders a woman for passing a forged prescription. This time they had to fire him, prosecute him, pig-loving jury acquits and now he's suing for a million cause they won't let him back on the force to finish his trifecta. Your contempt and disrespect towards the police pollute any reasonable argument you might make. You should stop while you're behind. Your blind nationalism destroys any possible chance of objective commentary, but I won't promote censorship as you do.
-
It's not your responsibility to call all cops pigs either, but you don't seem to have any trouble doing that. No, just my pleasure. Actually it's a test of semantic sensitivity.

And what if she didn't get shot, but wrecked the car and killed everyone inside? You probably wouldn't like that as much because it would be harder to blame the police for. She put herself in that position, and endangered the lives of her kids in the process because she wanted drugs. IMHO, people like that deserve a bullet more than anyone. There are probably a handful of people who know what actually happened, and my guess is you're not one of them. If the witnesses were anything like you, they would have probably lied just to see the cop get f*cked. Ah, so you're the expert now. Personally I think being a police officer is one of the most selfless things someone can do. They put their lives on the line everyday, and get paid jack shit for it. Just like any group of people, there are a few bad ones out there. Their crimes shouldn't go unpunished. I'm not sure why you hate them so much, but hating them all because of one bad one is pretty much the stupidest thing I've ever heard. And what if she didn't get shot, but wrecked the car and killed everyone inside? And what if pink elephants flew out of her ass? It is considered consensus by the authorities that there was more danger in shooting than letting her go and picking her up at her home - they had her lic plate #. You probably wouldn't like that as much because it would be harder to blame the police for. She put herself in that position, and endangered the lives of her kids in the process because she wanted drugs. IMHO, people like that deserve a bullet more than anyone. Well, you represent like 1% of the Phoenix area opinion, so you must be a revolutionary trend-setter. I bet you are that 1% that hopes he gets his job back - he can go for the trifecta with just one more killing. There are probably a handful of people who know what actually happened, and my guess is you're not one of them. If the witnesses were anything like you, they would have probably lied just to see the cop get f*cked. This says nothing. The witnesses were young college girls and an older person. They seemed to have no bias. The witnesses were nothing like me, so your ad hominem ends there - sorry. Ah, so you're the expert now. Again, this is not about me. It occurred 2 1/2 years ago and there's still tons of media about it. It is a big deal and it is not about me, so why don't you review some of the sites I posted or just look more up. Keyword - *murdering pig* Personally I think being a police officer is one of the most selfless things someone can do. It's a lazy job where you get to commit crimes all you want and get away with it, not that I think that's a good thing. They put their lives on the line everyday, and get paid jack shit for it. Ya, most of the time they are bored and writing tickets. As for low pay, not so much anymore - they get paid well now for having jackshit for an education. Just like any group of people, there are a few bad ones out there. Ya, it just seems there are a few more, or a higher rate amongst cops. I'm not sure why you hate them so much, but hating them all because of one bad one is pretty much the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I don't hate them, honest. I blame the courts for allowing such lattitude on the front end, and then giving immunity on the back end. Cops are often reallystupid people that follow orders too well w/o thought. But I don't hate them. Exonerating them all behind some lame rationalization is the stupidest thing I've heard of.

OK, so if I refered to all cop-haters as paranoid fucktards whose mommys didn't love them enough, that would be cool with you? It wouldn't be cool with me. It would be disrespectful, crude, and right up your alley, apparently. I have some cold hard facts for you. I'm sure they won't match your version of reality so you'll ignore them, but they remain facts nonetheless. First, the cops involved in the Louima thing aren't cops anymore, and I believe at least a few of them went to jail. Responsibility for cops does exist. Second, the Diallo shooting was a bad day for everyone, but there was no criminal intent. The guy matched a violent felon's description, was in the right (wrong) area, and he made a sudden move towards his waist with guns pointed at him. Third, I think it is wrong that cops in Virginia shot up a neighborhood while shooting at (and occasionally hitting) a violent perp. They hsould be held accountable for the rounds just as I would be. If I shot up that neighborhood, I'd have been charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling. The law needs to change for them or me to make it even again. There, you seem to think I'm a Nazi because I don't hate America, and that's pretty far right, and I just criticized the actions of some cops. I hope you at least consider revising your worldview before jumping back into fantasyland headfirst. OK, so if I refered to all cop-haters as paranoid fucktards whose mommys didn't love them enough, that would be cool with you? It would be ok if you didn't mind me calling people that love pigs no matter what a bunch of slimebag, Nazi pig lovers who's daddy loved them too much. It wouldn't be cool with me. It would be disrespectful, crude, and right up your alley, apparently. Apparently it is - you wrote it. First, the cops involved in the Louima thing aren't cops anymore, and I believe at least a few of them went to jail. Responsibility for cops does exist. The HPIC (head pig in charge) received 30 years, but was then released on a technicality. Funny how cops turn to liberal appellate courts crying and whining like other criminal defendants when they convicted, huh? Furthermore, that cements my contention that a badge is a commit one felony free card. That is sad - they aren't cops anymore....whatever, how about jail time? Second, the Diallo shooting was a bad day for everyone, but there was no criminal intent. The guy matched a violent felon's description, was in the right (wrong) area, and he made a sudden move towards his waist with guns pointed at him. Ya, wrong place/wrong time, person dies, pig walks. Where are your facts and what do they support? My arguments. The law needs to change for them or me to make it even again. Should, might, etc.... It's not the fault of the pigs - they just have an easy job where they drive around and fuck with people. The fault is with the courts. See, US Sup Ct decisions come down in the form of "Bright-line" rules. The Terry pat and frisk is one, Miranda is another. These simple terms represent guidlelines drawn from 300-page decisions that most cops couldn't comprehend. Point is, how can the cops uphold the law when much of the time they don't knwo what it is. Furthermore, most cops are hired as the ultra-conservative type, so they interpret things a bit different from howthe courts intended, butthe courts won't eradicate the problem - hell, judges want immunity too. There, you seem to think I'm a Nazi because I don't hate America, and that's pretty far right, and I just criticized the actions of some cops. No, I think your a blind nationalist, mean ing whatever the government does domestically or abroad is ok, because, hell, we did it and we're the beacon of freedom so it must be good. As for your criticisms, well, they hardly even register on the handslap meter. Cops do some pretty bad shit, worse than many bona fide criminals, but you have yet to say, "fry em" about the pigs the way you would about a so called criminal. I hope you at least consider revising your worldview before jumping back into fantasyland headfirst. No revision, just more affirmation from you.

I have a lawsuit filed and am in discovery. I have most of an AG report done, and I think the FBI is a good idea. However, it is not my responsiblity as a citizen, as if it's my duty.

Just because it's not apparent that it serves a very useful purpose now doesn't mean that it didn't in the past. I've heard that it might have served in the development of immune systems of babies in the uterus (like tonsils) before their true immune systems take over. I'm no expert. It's just what I've heard. Still don't understand why it doesn't go away in adulthood, though. I have to have mine taken out in 92. Yes, a vestigle organ - one that the need for it evolved away from. Whales have leg bones, very small. Many creatures have vestigle organs - it's part of the constant evolutionary cycle.
