Man, that's what they all say... M

If you're in the mood for some good cover music, you can't go wrong with Richard Cheese. Especially his covers of NIN's Closer and Nirvana- Rape Me. M
-
True, but when the little girl finally broke her silence and cried for Mel Gibson to not leave again is the only scene in any movie that ever made me feel like I might actually cry. M
-
Ok, so apparently if you want to find me at the WFFC I'll be the youngun wandering around drunk with Sunshine, Val, and Tomas. I hope I get to skydive too! M
-
I'll be there, probably the whole time. I live about 20 minutes away. Yay. M

I'd say wear the magnets around your ankles and this Q thing by your heart. According to thousands of years of practice by Tibetan monks, that is the ideal way to reach a higher state of consciousness. Assuming you're a Vegan, of course. I want to know if wearing one of these will keep a digital watch from working. Of course, a digital watch will make me more stressed anyway, so I shouldn't have one. M

I drive by that place almost every time I go to Archway, and I still crack up every single time I see that sign. We need to get a picture of it. M

Look, dude, I think you're missing the point--Phree's home DZs are not GMs and do not require jumpers to be members of the USPA. This means he can skydive, coach, instruct, do tandems, or whatever he wants at those places *without being a USPA member*. He also disagrees with the USPA GM program. Therefore, he has decided not to give them his money. He has no reason to. If he jumped regularly at DZs which required jumpers to be USPA members, then I'm sure he would be one. That's a big reason most of us are. That's all there is to it. M

Uh... that's a good song and all, but... huh?

I heartily disagree! I follow the rules I agree with, and I don't follow the rules I think are pointless and dumb(to an extent). I don't run red lights. That will get you(or someone else) killed. I don't drive drunk. Again, that kills people. Do I drive between 45 and 65 on the highways here in IL? No. Especially not if I'm in a hurry. Who does it hurt? If I get ticketed, then it's my own problem. Other than that, I see no reason to follow that rule. We can do a lot of cool things skydiving, because we are pretty self-regulated. That means we have the responsibility to make our own decisions to not do stupid things. If we just handed over all the decisions to the government, we would lose that privilege, and our sport would be lessened because of it. M

Dude, Marc, kick ASS! That's the best news I've heard in a long time!

0:0:0 Oh well, I had fun dicking around at Archway on Saturday even without jumping, and had a good time partying friday and saturday... M
-
Sweet, I'm happy these days too... doing better with classes, weather's finally perked up for skydiving... and specifically today, I leave in an hour and a half to see Alkaline Trio live, followed by a party for someone's birthday... a woman who can put up with me... finally...! I'm happy, you're happy, everybody's happy...
-
Bloody hell, I never get it right! I mean, I am 19, Jessica... I'm not 19, Sunshine and Val... One of these days I'll figure out what women want.
-
[learning from this past weekend] I am not 19. I am 30. Really. M
-
P.S. Andy- we'll all be out on Saturday, see ya there! M
-
Sounds like a fun trip... warn us if you two hit Archway! M
-
Eh, might as well do it again... AIM: M555555 There are 6 fives. Don't ask. Marc

Mmm... double stuff oreos... [homer]aghhahhhhghhgghh... [/homer]
-
Yes it sucks... John called and woke me up at 9:15... then we tried unsuccessfully for an hour to find someplace that was open today. Complete failure to ditch class for skydiving... man... M
-
I knew I should have gone with the red and blue instead of the sweatshirt. Blame it all on my keen fashion sense. M

"We are gathered here... again... to witness the wedding of Princess Vespa to Princess Valium--oh, sorry. It's the hair. *Prince* Valium...."

"I am a shrubber. My name is Roger the Shrubber. I design, build, and sell shrubberies." "Ni!" "No! Nonono!"

Actually, it was Launcelot who interrupted Galahad in the Castle Anthrax. You obviously have not seen the movie enough. I'm Bedivere, the Wise... "And that, my liege, is how we know the world to be banana-shaped...." M
