  1. I think Osama saying "THANK GOD" for GWB taking his time to respond so his operatives could complete their mission was definitely in Kerry's favor... Osama said GWB left 50,000 people to fend for themselves while he finished reading a book about a sheep... Definitely in Kerry's favor.... Rhino
  2. When the planes hit the towers there were VERY distinct puncture wounds in the building.. .In the shape of an airplane... If the plane hit the ground before hitting the pentagon you would have still seen the same wing shaped marks in the building... The windows weren't even broken? Where are all the tapes? You can't tell me that the pentagon isn't taped, taped and re-taped again.... I saw a small hole in the pentagon... No wing indentations on the building... If it hit the ground first and the building is as strong as they say it is we would have seen airplane engines outside the building? Or undercarriage? Or something?? Did they ever find the "mystery" black box for that flight? Just curious.. Rhino..
  3. The President is flying over the country gallivanting in Air Force One, with the largest security force known to man setting up daily security. Amazing how much Bush running for President is costing us. Who do you think is paying for the secret service? Who is paying for the Gas on Air Force One? Our tax dollars.... Bummer huh... Rhino
  4. Take it or leave it. I found it to be interesting.

  6. Yes I did make an effort... The next letter goes out tomorrow... I'll send a copy of my letter and the White Houses response to John Kerry... He should get a kick out of it... Today is MUCH TOO DANGEROUS of a day and age to have open immigration. In the age of terrorism it can't be allowed. If Bush can't see that he is a fucking idiot... Reinforces my vote for Kerry... Rhino
  7. I finally saw this video... This twerp is so full of shit... If you are afraid, watch it.. You will feel better... Why don't these cockbags just show their faces. If they are so proud of their cause? Rhino
  8. What a fucking cop-out by the administration... I write a very detailed letter to the President with specific concerns and this is what I got... Bush is in LA LA LAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And if it does what do you think will be the response of our populous? My opinion. is yes.. no... and if it does I wouldn't want to be a Muslim in this country because the good ole boyz will pull out all the stops... Rhino

  14. Two success stories of "freelance" anti-jihadists: Spc. Ryan Anderson, National Guardsman: Fort Lewis soldier charged with attempting to aid the enemy. Private citizen Shannen Rossmiller posed as a terrorist on the Internet and lured the 26-year-old soldier into an FBI sting operation. The Army arrested Anderson in February and plans to court-martial him, saying he tried to provide information to the enemy as his unit prepared to deploy to Iraq. Anderson, a Muslim convert, could face the death penalty if convicted. James Ujaama, former Seattle resident: Thirty-eight-year-old prosecuted for planning to set up a terrorism training camp in Bly, Ore., in 1999. Videotapes provided to the FBI by a self-proclaimed "freelance intelligence agent" in London, Glen Jenvey, played a significant role in the 2002 prosecution. Jenvey infiltrated the Finsbury Park mosque in North London to obtain the tapes, which showed Ujaama sitting alongside radical cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri and talking about jihad. Ujaama pleaded guilty last year and has agreed to testify against Abu Hamza, who was arrested last month in London and is accused of aiding al-Qaida. http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/002275.php
  15. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,136525,00.html In a weekly TV column, writer Charlie Brooker (search) launched into a refrain familiar to anyone who regularly reads The Guardian, the house organ of London's liberal left-wing. Taking on George W. Bush's performance during the recent debates, Brooker dubbed the president a "lying, sniggering, drink-driving, selfish, reckless, ignorant, dangerous, backward, drooling, twitching, blinking, mouse-faced little cheat." He concluded his ditty with the following paragraph: "On November 2, the entire civilized world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sod's law dictates he'll probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr. -- where are you now that we need you?" Sputter. Our friends the Brits, indeed. Brooker's longing for an assassin (The Guardian apologized for it Monday, calling it an "ironic joke") is an extreme, but by no means atypical view among London's punditry class these days. Thumbing through the rest of the week's television listings in the same magazine as Brooker's column says much about how Britain's media feel about America and Bush in particular.
  16. "How did they fail to secure nearly 380 tons of known, deadly explosives despite clear warnings from the International Atomic Energy Agency to do so? And why was this information unearthed by reporters -- and was it covered up by our national security officials?" "These explosives can be used to blow up airplanes, level buildings, attack our troops and detonate nuclear weapons. The Bush administration knew where this stockpile was, but took no action to secure the site." Lockhart criticized Bush for his "stunning incompetence."

500m is NOTHING for a 7.62,,, hell from 500 yards I can hit a body center mass 20 out of 20 times with an open sight m-16. Last 5 rifle quals were 100% from 500 yards in the prone. With my 30-06 I can easily make twice as accurate shots from 2 times that distance. I'd bet money I can land 9 out of 10 in the head from 1,000 yards. 1,000 to 1,500 and I REALLY need to take my time and work, I've had good groups and I've had o.k. groups from 1,500. I want to get good at 1,500 yards to 2,000 yards but don't know if my 30-06 is the best weapon for it. My record in the Marines "not all that impressive" was 7th award expert rifleman and 6th award expert postil shot. One of the funnest things I got to do while in the Marines was shoot in the rifle and pistol competitions for 6 months... That was 6 months of nothing but shooting.. Up at 4am and home at 7pm 5 sometimes 6 days a week. I wanted sniper school SOO BADLY but wasn't allowed because I wasn't a grunt or an MP. That sucked... Rhino

I'm talking pure range and stopping power... Excluding the barrett 50 cal... The 7.62mm is simply a smaller 30-06 cartridge right? By smaller I mean shorter... Optimal shot I am looking for is between 1200-1700 yards. More on the longer end. 2000+ yards would be even better. I'm looking for extreme range... Rhino

I wonder what the max effective range of a 30-06 is? 1,500 meters isn't much of a problem.. I wonder how much further it can reach effectively... ?

What would you consider to be the best sniper rifle? Other than the Barret 50 cal obviously. I have a 30-06 that I've placed tight groups with at 1500 yards... Most of the teams use 7.62 nato round... http://www.snipercountry.com/links.htm
  21. That sort of thing only happens in movies. Our military is honorable.
