By the time I owned my first canopy I had over 65 jumps on rental gear. I jumped MANY different canopies. By that time I was very in tune to landing any canopy I was flying.. Besides I have ALLWAYS put the most energy into landing parachutes.. I started with a Triathlon at 1.25.. For me that was perfect.. I could sink it straight down without my feet stinging.. It was an awesome place to start.. 1.25 was a good medium between forgiveness and control.. I was in between the canopy flying me and me flying the canopy if you know what I mean.. I am sure if you crossbraced a Diablo or a Triathlon you would have an emazing performance difference.. Any open nosed canopy COULD probably benefit from crossbracing.. Pack volume? Who cares how big it packs.. I don't weight pack volume in any decision I make concerning canopies.. I'd like to see a crossbraced Diablo? I wonder how much of a performance difference there would be? Even a Triathlon? Interesting concept.. Blue Skies .....

That tandem canopy PROBABLY has a much more open nose than say a VX does.. That's comparing apples to oranges.. Blue Skies .....

I believe they do need to be loaded.. First off the air intakes are smaller than a normal canopy like a Triathlon.. They require airspeed for compression.. It's the whole closed off rounded nose thing.. I wouldn't feel very comfortable under a lightly loaded crossbraced canopy. Mines well get a hp elliptical 9 cell like a crossfire.. Or even a sabre2.. If you aren't loading the canopy that much anyways you probably won't notice the perks of crossbracing.. I am jumping a crossfire 109, it's bottom end is FANTASTIC. Rhino Blue Skies .....

One world government???? As good as it sounds I think that would make things worse than they are.. Most of the assholes that are in power are simply not willing to give up the power and the lifestyle they have being in their positions. Saddham, Khadafe, on and on and on.. A one world power? As long as it wasn't ONE person sitting in the head seat it might work? Then again a world congress scares the hell out of me. Congress is fucked up enough as it is. They can get 10-20+ percent pay raises but our military personel are struggling to pay the bills. This whole war on terror thing has at least in a way given everyone a common goal.. Getting rid of assholes. My morning rant is over.. Not really a rant just my 2cents. I have a better idea.. Let's make at least ONE skydive a day mandentory for ALL people in the world.
