    Let me help you out with this simple logic as she says.. Back in the day women weren't allowed to vote. Everyone thought they didn't have the right to vote. They disagreed (like people that support an ammendment to make flag burning against the law) and they fought for their right to vote. Now they can vote. It is their right.     What if he encouraged his children to join or supported their decision to do so because he loves his country just the same? What if he supported them while they served? What if he defends what they fight for while arm chair quarterbacks insult the soldiers honor? I think all of these things make him a Patriot as you say.... Rhino

    You want to exercise your free speech.. Goto your local VFW and burn a flag.. I dare you.. Then pm me when you get out of the hospital in a month.. Try explaining to those veterans why burning your flag is acceptable.. You might get a word in edge wise you might not.. I live in Michigan.. You live in Florida.     No double standard at all. I support it being against the law. For all we know it will be a $50 fine. In some way IT NEEDS to be against the law.

    That is your opinion. I didn't serve to some jackass can burn my flag. I completely disagree. Some of us stand up for our flag and country in the most patriotic of ways. Some don't. It means something special to some of us. It doesn't to others. My flag is sacred.. I served my country and expect those that didn't to respect that so called piece of cloth that they did nothing to earn a piece of. Any serviceman that burns a flag should be shot on site for dishonor. This country needs honor. Servicemembers thinking it's o.k. to burn the very flag they fight for is a bit off canter don't you think? What really pisses me off is people that REALLY don't think it is o.k. joining the masses to say IT SHOULD BE when they know damned well that it's wrong. Rhino
