Hi Bill, I have two kids that will get me the 400 bucks each. I'm going to enjoy spending the 800 bucks I'll be receiving soon, as I see fit. I live in Vancouver, WA and I fully support the schools here, have never voted against a property tax increase (yes, I am buying my home, not a renter) to benefit the Vancouver school district. Near as I can figure, the problems with money for education go far beyond the costs of education alone. The government (all of it from city hall to DC) waste enormous amounts of money. So, if they want to throw a bit of my taxes paid back to me, great!

you can send them all to me, I'm out of clay pidgeons

Thanks for that info. The cypres is probably a superior unit overall, but I trust that my Astra wil do its thing should the need arise (whch I hope never happens)

Hi Michelle, damn, you put things down in words so very well
-
Good for your Grandpa!

well said Lisa. You're not going to change anyones mind on wanting the cigarette police to protect us from ourselves tho. But thanks for letting me know there are still others that believe in freedom Maybe someone can make a new post about child abuse, how bout lard ass parents with overweight kids stuffing their pieholes at the Burger King?!?

104 geez! that's too damn hot. Of course, makes the temp at alt pretty darn nice

My condolences Katie Bet that near beer doesn't even make for very good farts huh? At least we had good old alcohol (among lots of other good stuff) in the conflict I was involved in back in 72. When you get back to the world and if you are in the NW, case of good beer is on me PS, just thought that you might like to know that myself and everyone else I know from the Vietnam era are very proud of you young troopers and am VERY HAPPY that the American people are backing you this time!

Hi Wendy, Altho you might have fun doing it, I don't think it should be a part of getting a higer rating. One knows when it will be dark before ya jump, so no need to be proficient at night jumps IMHO. Water training, that's a valid training requirement I think (unless ya only jump at Skydive AZ)
-
Infidels! what are you doing with those alcholic beverages in the land of Islam? I triple guarantee you, they taste good in the desert Hope you get to come back to the "world" soon
-
Glad it all worked out for you. As for night jumps, what's the point? Except for being required for license progression, I don't intend to do any for shits and grins. USPA should not require night jumps to advance in ratings. Night jumps=waste of time and money (unless ya plan on joining the Delta force or something)

Hope he didn't hurt anyone, looks like he may have tho

Hi all, I jumped my new canopy today. It's a 190 Hornet. Had only jumped my 220 Raider and student gear before. I must say that I am impressed, glad I bought it! Compared to my old F111 skybarge, it is a hot rod (well, at least for an old fart like me). Didn't stand up the landing (flared to high) but I didn't bust my ass either. Hope you all had a pretty good day too

I went into the device manager? and reloaded the drivers (altho there were no warnings in the device manager) restarted and the sound now works. Thanks for the help

Hello all, I was bored last night and got rid of a bunch of stuff using ad aware. Anyway, when all was done, I have no sound now. Only a hiss that increases and decreases in volume with the volume control. The only stuff I got rid of was N/A and the ad aware said it should be okay to delete them. Any help would be appreciated

Hey, I just wasted an hour going through this post just to see what Billvon does, he's not here?!? what gives?

That guy in the beater must have had a very high idle for the engine to not die when his foot slipped. I always put my GrandAm in neutral at the lights, but that's cause my leg gets tired

Hey Jerry, Travis took the 1st jump course a few weeks back and INTENTIONALLY made a jump!
-
we use ghost pilots from the old days to fly the plane while dealing with the door, eating lunch and napping on jumps runs....
