    Ok.... IMO On a scale of 1 to 10... 10 being the perfect homemade or store bought gift and 1 being a "Merry Christmas" handshake......... I would say that cash is a 3 and gift cards which show that "you had a clue of where you might like a gift from" would be a 4 or 5. Sadly, I usually have to go with the gift card thing for most of my christmas presents since I don't live near any of my family.....     damn it!!! I knew I should have went to Clewiston on Saturday, but it was solid cloudy over here in Ft Myers. Oh well, I'm hoping for a couple jumps new years weekend!!     This is a dangerous thread. Some DZO's read the forums and know our nicknames.... if you call a DZO out here, that DZO could know who you are, and when you show up again at that DZ, it could be less than enjoyable. Of all the DZO's that I have met in my time jumping, I only have had serious problems with one of them, and I don't jump there anymore because of it.     I tried to get the right info out there, but what the "newspeople" do with it, is out of my control. Whatever happened to wanting to present the facts instead of just trying to get whatever information out first, right or wrong, we got it there first!!!!     I work at a TV station in Florida as a director. When I saw the script for the story they were going to do last night, I went up to the executive producer and told him that he needs to put more and correct information in it. I offered him just a few more things to put in there that would make it at least correct. Of course, the producer didn't want anything to do with what was correct, but wanted to go with the same news copy that all the other stations have been going with, which as we all know is usually wrong and was incorrect once again in this case. I tried my best to give the correct information to the newspeople, and they still didn't run with it. Needless to say, I was more than a bit pissed at the Executive producer last night after the show for once again giving the wrong information about a skydiving related incident. I really don't like newspeople, and I work with them every day. Goggles and Teeth "You fall like a greased safe!!!"
