Is it not writen that the Coach ma ydo a linkedexit but only in the catergories working on group freefall skills? So the AFF-I is required up to and through the stability drills and then the clearenceto selfe supervision andcoaching? I noticed the need for the PRCP as well and was told to "Stuff it". The ISP allows for any combination of teaching method a DZ wants to use, as long as the transition protocal is met and with the right I's. An Instructors first concern is student safety. I did that and only posted this to see if there was any other person, besides the one who explained the program, who thought an AFF-I was not needed. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

I am thinking it isn't "too easy" for the ones prepared, but imPASSible for the ones unprepared. Recently an Istructor was telling me he would just ask USPA for a waiver so he could do his "Hybred" student program (If he read the ISP and used it he would see all programs are covered there now) since he was doing harness hold jumps with out a rating. So he didn't get it just given to him. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

OK all here is the scenario: US DZ, USPA GM DZ, USPA Individual Member and Instructor. Tandem Progression using 5 Tandems, 1 Clear and Pull then off to Harness hold 1 on 1 Instruction. For the Harness hold portion what kind of Instructor ("I") is needed? My Opinion is an AFF-I. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

As they have only operated once, you could say it is ALWAYS a Caravan. To the OP, there are several places, none are close to downtown. Depends on where your staying in the city. South side or east side, go to Tullahoma or Cullman (a bit longer drive), North side and west side, go to Russellville or Clarksville (a bit longer drive). There is a bunch from east side who go to Skydive Smoky Mountains. Again you just have to drive a bit for each. I have been here in the area for 9 years and can fill ya in on any other questions you may have. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -
New Military Static Line Chute?
matthewcline replied to SkydiveJack's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
When active I jumped an ATPS and it open pretty quick. Drop speed is between 135 and 145 knots from the 130's and stays up toward the 145 range from the 17's. The canopy is designed to be deployed at 500'agl and still allow several seconds to get your bearings before the PLF. Having done just that in 1989 (yeah I know ancient fucken history blah blah), you don't want much hang time. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!! -

Well he may have done a Jump from Mike Mullins Plane, then again he may not have. The quiet approach usually is best for the confrontation. You two are on the same team at the moment and can't afford a tiff. Be safe, keep low, your eyes and ears open. Come to Ohio when you get back and I will hook up a jump for you. ESPN 2 is supposed to Air "snippits" of the Jump during the Pre-race show. Check local listings if your at a local where the weather has you not skydiving. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

He and Jamie Little (ESPN reporter) went together. She did a tandem and he appears to have done a AFF jump after some tunnel time. They showed some clips on ESPN today, no actual freefall footage, but I may have missed it. It was part of his sponsors Team Red Bull Air Force and Team Red Bull Racing coming together and doing a little cross marketing. I am bummed out, Brian and I have been talking about jumping for years. Oh well, maybe he will keep it up? An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

True and well deserved for those of yuo who did earn them. I am just happy I could support those who have em. Now as to the reserve ride stickers where do I find em? An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

Not only is the boogie going to support the Thank You Foundation and the efforts they make to thank and support the Troops. It will also be to help launch a program for skydivers to help give back to the Military Wounded. See attached flyer. An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!

U.S. Army, Active Duty, 21 years and one month from 1 Oct '86 to 31 Oct '07 No! Basic and Combat Arms AIT does not do well enough to "teach the stress". The services (with the USMC exception of course) have softened the training to retian more through Basic and on to a unit (where we had to weed 'em out, if we couldn't fix 'em). With the type of war the Country is in now the WHOLE DOD needs to be trained in Combat Operations. All this is my "Opinion", of course. An Instructors first concern is student safety. I like it! It would open the conversation for EP's being done right! Of course it would also open the packing class debate too! at least for my 2 stickers! Where do I send my money? An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
