With ANY medicine, ALWAYS weigh the benefits over the risks. How badly does she need it? Can she not function without help? Is she anxious/depressed to the point of self harm or harm to the children? Or does she just like "a little something to calm the nerves"? Risks really depends on what the medication is - what is the concentration that is present in the breastmilk (which includes factoring of the fat content and solubility), whether she would pass the active metabolite or a breakdown product, and what the size of the active molecule is (larger compounds wont cross the placenta) Hopefully her dr's know that she's pregnant and their using something older (like buspar) with a known side effect profile and not the newer medicines where .... we really don't know everything about them

I have many thoughts on this subject, both personally and professionally. Billy, best advice. Just watch him. Don't trust him. Don't give him the "benefit of the doubt." Don't let your daughters around him. But do NOT actively seek to harm or stalk him. I understand the argument "If it were my daughter". . . .because I fear that if I had a daughter that was raped, I might be so provoked as well... but 1. "she" wasn't your daughter 2. you don't know the situation 3. he may have changed You attacking him or lynching him definitely would be WRONG.

No, but they do pee - what do you think the amniotic fluid is? and if stressed - they will poop (meconium - sterile, not really "poop")

Is "get a maid" a medical procedure? edit to add: I guess if you cloned her, it would be.

Pelvic examination -Positioning the patient Raise the patients head so that eye contact is possible. Put your hand at the end of the table over the sheet and have the patient move down until she feels your hand. Drape the sheet around the legs and arrange so that you can see the patient and only the perineum is visible. Tell the patient you are going to touch her and touch her on her leg or thigh Ask her to move her legs out to “here”--and show her how wide. Tips to make the experience tolerable for the patient Don’t say things like “spread your legs” or “it looks good” Say “let your legs relax--out to here” and show her and “everything looks healthy” Try to avoid talking about the “blades” or the speculum (ouch!). Call them “bills” like a bird. Use firm pressure, not a light tickling touch Talk to the patient and tell her what you are doing. Look at the patient when you ask her a question, if you can. But, maintain eye contact and and stay in touch with the patient’s response. Be sensitive. Speculum examination: -Put pressure on the perineum -Insert speculum at an oblique angle -Insert completely -Allow the patient and her vagina to relax -Open the “bills” of the speculum -If you can not visualize the cervix, adjust the speculum. Remove the speculum and palpate, if necessary.

Actually this is something that I have talked with some of my patients about.... Ultimately - as long as both (or however many) are consenting adults and not in any way emotionally or physically hurt by the encounter - I try to encourage them to be nonjudgemental and the term "perversion" is something that really shouldn't be worried about. Besides.... societies morals change and flow. What we consider tame today might be perverted in the future and likewise what we consider perv today might be "mainstream" at somepoint.
