I try hard not to hate anyone. There are a couple of people that I have no respect for due to harm that they have caused me or those dear to my heart, but "hating" them takes lots of energy. I'm way too busy for that. I just want to focus on those I like to spend time with. It's too short to do otherwise. Karen

I love how these conversations always come down to bravado..... Luckily we never have to know. But whether her statement is false bravado or fact, she is safe now because of her actions - her controlled and thought out actions based on her available options. She was in a stressed situation, made a command decision and was able to walk away. I still think she did well and it reflects poorly to criticize what other choices she might have had to make in hypothetical situations. Karen

Up until about a year and a half ago, I believed in fate and that it all works the way it should... but now, I don't really know. Sometimes it just doesn't. In fact I thought that life was kind of in my control, like in Vanilla Skies.... but, I perfer to think that I have no control over the alternative that I'm just torturing myself with the twists and turns.... But I still want to believe in serendipity.... I hope Serendipity treats you well. Karen

Patience. The solstice is tomorrow. The days will start getting longer.... Then things will wake up and be happy again. Then summer will come and someone will post that summer sucks.

I think the vibrating option provides a nice bonus!! - however... if he is truly ascared, then the direct immersion method might cause a catatonic state. So maybe it's better to gently indoctrinate him...

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Sudden change in 4 months - could mean just the influence of a new peer group, or could mean that something bad happened in the "good" peer group. Remember, even if they look "clean cut" and "caring" doesn't mean that bad things couldn't have happened. Talk to her.

Suicide is "caused" by many things. Pain (physical or emotional), loss of hope (sorrow or chronic illness), depression, psychiatric instability The decision to procede with suicide is NOT generally one makes lightly ("should I ... go to the mall or take these pills?") Nor is it a decision made based on thoughts of other people. It's generally about freeing yourself from whatever pain you need to escape from with the thought that the death would be better than the process currently. A suicidal "gesture" (not a real attempt) might be more manipulative, but even some of those actually do become real suicides if not caught. Would I select the option for suicide if I had the proper situation? I don't know. Ovarian cancer, metastatic, bowel obstruction.... or pain meds. I would definately consider it a "reasonable" choice.

And the *ahem* power and penetration desired? Personally, as I've stated in the past, I perfer the 45, but that's more so cuz the 1911 is just a sexy looking gun. (and when I want something to go down, I want them to stay down.... at least for a bit.... )

No... it can stay here. We just have to find some way to make it a philosophical debate thing. Start with an exteme theory that will have many arguing against you: I believe that math is a non-linear concept governed by the fates in a fifth dimension and over-taxed by zealots in Congress for the purpose of controlling our freedoms. Then wait and see if anyone would be bored enough to bite on the bait. (or maybe it will just get moved....) Karen

"period"? as in during that time of the month? or "period" as in "I shouldn't post. (period)" Cuz if you're saying that you shouldn't post during your menses, that changes my impression of who you are. (I know guys can get moody and such, but they "typically" don't have periods - but I don't deal with XY DNA types.) k.
