I had never shot a muzzle loader before... I was told "it'll kick"... but DAMN! I thought I had it locked in my shoulder. I guess not. And the whole scope thing . Lesson learned - Don't cheek up! But more annoyed when I couldn't twist anyones arm into field medicine... inspite of the fact that I had all the equiptment available.

Scope bite. (An entertaining tale of bad scopes. muzzle loaders. and guys that wont put in a stitch or two....)

Some of these tackles look pretty impressive too.... Yeah... they're wearing shoulder pads, but some of those slams just GOTTA hurt!

When I was there... I went to Central Park, Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island, Broadway show, Times Square, Chrysler Building and Empire State Building (while there, I got to hear a dad tell his children about how if they jumped off... they'd be dead from the shock to their mind before they hit the ground), Rockafeller Center (don't know if the ice skating rink is up yet), Shea Stadium (but that took some time to find), a bit of time in the subway (which was fun in and of itself) I'm sure that some of the other locals to NY could recommend other sites.
