    wow I don't understand how you can sit there and judge President Bush on how much he donated to the relief....who are you to say what's a "charitable donation" or not? How can you say that "if his heart was really in it he would've donated more"? I'm a broke college student and love giving money away when I can, are you gonna sit here and tell me that my heart's not really into donating, because I don't ACTUALLY have the money to give? Bottom line is, what good does it do you, funks, to make a donation in the name of helping others, only to turn around and bash someone for doing the exact same thing you did? It was simply shocking for me to read this post. Seems giving is the sort of act that requires love, humility and selflessness, but if you brag about what you give it makes giving sound like a wasted effort.     Hey, I hope everything works out for you and your wife kai--love what flyangel2 and Rosa said. Marriage is a pretty important thing, shouldn't relationships w/ loved ones be more important than anything else? When we die, MOST of us will want our friends and family around, and not our accomplishments, skydiving awards,etc. So I'm young and a newbie, but I still know what's important in life. Things can and will get better--marriage is hard work and it's good to see that you are willing to do whatever in order to see the commitments you made to your wife be fulfilled. Blessings!     Ncrowe: this is so true! And I want to learn how to fly my body well. flyangel2: Have you done some good drill dives with an experienced jumper that can see what is going on Yes, I have video, it shows I need to stick my feet out more. I talked to my rigger/aff Instructor, I think he knows me best how I fly, so I decided to get either a Bev or Tony suit, w/ booties, grips, reinforced knees and butt, made of nylon. He says I'm a medium-fast faller, I just need to work on my body position, and I guess half of the people who say I fall fast are pretty short and skinny. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    Hi Judy! Geez, there are so many options. Last jump, the guy wore weights and could keep up w/ me better...I don't know if I want to have all my friends wear weights if they're gonna jump with me, , I'd rather "fix" my body/position to suit their needs, rather than have everyone else have to change for me. I guess that's a normal part of flying w/ others though, isn't it? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    hmm, that's a good question, guess that's something I should soon find out. All I know is, most everyone I jump with has a hard time keeping up with me, but I also tend to bring my feet in too much, which of course causes me to fall faster. And yes, I need to be able to adjust my fall rate too, when doing RW stuff right? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    Hey guys, I'm sure it's been asked before, I don't have time right now though to sort through tons of posts to find what I need. I'm a tall girl, medium build, and I fall very fast. I'm planning on ordering a jumpsuit soon, I like the nylon ones but it's probably not a good idea. So, what would be the best kind of suit to "suit" my needs? I want everyone to be able to keep up with me, should my suit be slightly baggy? Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    Nope--I love being girly, wearing heels and skirts, but I hafta admit since I started skydiving, I've gotten more casual clothes, especially skydiving shirts! I like to look my best wherever I go, however, now I'm more into freeflowing, comfy clothes...something I can wear at the dropzone. Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    I can't make cookies or brownies for friends anymore, cuz I usually end up eating half the batter. Yeah, we're not supposed to be eating that stuff because of the raw eggs, but hey, nothing beats homemade chocolate chip cookie dough. ! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    hmmm, this could be interesting. Why not buy her something totally cheesy or stupid, or something that will make her laugh, at the dollar store!     hmm Dave...maybe I was a little dehydrated, I dunno...but I can't drink a lot of fluids or eat a lot on jumping days, because skydiving stimulates my body ( if ya know what I mean)... Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

    ouch, I only made 2 jumps yesterday, and my back, my butt and my neck and legs hurt. My left leg started to cramp in freefall , and it still hurts today. Anybody else sore from jumpin? Ever get a cramp in freefall? I've never had to stretch my muscles before skydiving, now I'm thinking maybe it's a good idea... Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...
