  1. My brain cannot determine the relevence of your reply to the post you replied to. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  2. Actually he didn't. He mearly said that both were delusional. He was not comparing WHAT they are delusional about at all. Imagine there are two mental patients.Mental patient A imagines that the staff removes his skin every night and mental patient B imagines that aliens download the information from his brain weekly. One might say that they are both delusional. But saying so is not a degree of insanity comparison between the flaying of skin and alien brain downloads. Both are delusional, in their own special ways. (please note that I am not getting into a "who is delusional and who is not" arguement -- I am simply pointing out that you are implying a comparison that was never stated from kallend) Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  3. I just took some shrapnel right to the buttocks. Well, at least now I will know when it is going to rain. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  4. CAn you feel the love tonight? I can't. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  5. It actually wasn't that good. I like the early releases better myself. "AlexCrowley, Live at Budokan" was glorious. But really, once he started with the excessive use of harpsicord on every release, I grew tired. This latest bit was more of a return to the "Dark Light of My Ass" from '93 but was made more for shock value than actual content. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  6. Yeah, its making me itch. Is this a rash? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  7. Yes. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  8. Well there's nothing wrong with that. But hopefully the number of kids they "should" have was directly correlated to how much money they made and how intelligent and good-looking they were... because, of course, we don't want poor, stupid, ugly people having children. Which is why I propose a battery of tests to determine if you can get a license to have a child. Of course, I don't care about looks; it would be strictly a long series of test to determine that you are not a fucking idiot. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  9. Even in low riders? If they continue to go lower? Yes. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  10. I like your style. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  11. She made the comparison between the "Strife" in congress to slavery on a plantation. Do you honestly think that is a valid analogy? I don't. There is no connection to begin with and the problems in Congress are CERTAINLY not comparable to the lack of power slaves held on a plantation. The sheer maginitude of one outweights the other. The statement simply pandered to the crowd and that was all. The woman's group. If she made the connection between Woman's Rights and problems in Congress, then yes, that would be playing a card. And would be quite the hyperbole just to appeal to the crowd. As for your VA example, there is no corollary. Giving an example of how past action caused the present is fine. But as I said, slavery has NOTHING to do with the current shite state of Congress. The comparison is patently absurd. The clever speaker will find a way to relate to an audience without having to delve into making outrageous connections between unrelated events just to get a cheer. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  12. Man, you are really angry today. Its kinda refreshing. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  13. I am going to have to ask you to stay at least 400 cybermiles from RL at all times. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  14. Why is it playing the race card? Because it is. The point of this thread was not the issues about Congress she raised, but the method she used to get there. That she made an analogy to race simply because she was speaking to a group of black people. That is playing the race card. Would she have made that same comparison in front of a School PTA? Small Business owners? It would be equivalent if she went to a jewish group and said the Democrats were like the Jews in Egypt or the Holocaust. Or if she went to a Christian group and said it was like being crucified (the analogy is poorer there). And that is playing the card and is simply a tacky and pathetic way to get your point across. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  15. Now you're just arguing about the definition of "serious". The fact is, such a ban was called for, and the group that did so was serious about it. I am betting that is NOT how the statement was meant. The statement was made with the implication that the the goverment was "seriously" considering it. Not that the group that wanted it was serious. Yes, your conclusion DOES fit the words in the sentence, but only by separating word meaning from the sentence context. We could say that that there was a serious proposal in the US that would remove all rights from non-whites simply because some white supremacist group put the proposal forth. After all, I bet they are serious about it. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  16. Flare. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  17. Right. But that is your PERSONAL choice isn't it? No law needed to be passed forcing you to be courteous. Such is NOT the case in more and more cities in the US. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  18. So time is a limited resource and we all run out someday. And you want to spend that precious limited time working more? That sounds awesome. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  19. I have always loved that argument: "Why should I be forced to breathe smoke in this bar if I don't want to?" Answer: You shouldn't. You can leave. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  20. According to Sen. Clinton there is no political discourse in this country at the present time. Hence "future." Blutarsky 2008. No Prisoners! She may have meant that, but I don't think you did when you wrote it. But nice recovery.
  21. Future? Are you serious? Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  22. I'm currently reading "Forever Odd" Edit to add: Well shit, now you & GTAVercetti tell me it's gonna suck! I'm only 40 or 50 pages in so far, and it ain't bad yet. Blues, Dave I just think the storytelling method is radically different in the second than the first. The plot is not nearly as complex and involving for me either. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  23. How many copies of photoshop does it take to make that pic? Oh, just one. Or a thousand and a room full of monkeys. Your choice. I prefer monkeys because they are fun to watch. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  24. My dad and my uncle. Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.
  25. Hmm. If RL visits me, I cannot promise anything save for the weirdness that is me. Do I win? Glad you had a good trip RL...even if you were tired.
