Took a vacation day yesterday to make some jumps. Got to Cross Keys arounf 10:30 AM and bought 5 tickets. At 1:00, after only 2 jumps, they SHUT THE PLANE DOWN and said we werent flying again till 4:00, and then we had a small window before they had to SHUT IT DOWN AGAIN I could forgive George W for a lot of dumbass moves, but this just crossed the line and broke the camels back and every other stupid metaphor you can think of. Screw all that WMD crap, what the hell was he thinking coming to Philly on my jumping day off???? I had to leave cuz I couldnt wait 3 hours and it was a perfect day Stupid president. __ My mighty steed

Maybe their fax is broken. I sent in for my C license a few weeks ago. Took 3 or 4 faxing attempts before it went through. Make sure when you re-send it that you call them to verify it got there. __ My mighty steed

I could have used that when I was a kid... I did in fact drown to death in a pool when I was 6 years old. When I was pulled from the water I was not breathing and my heart had stopped beating. Thats pretty dead. Fortunately for me (but maybe not the rest of the world) the lifeguard performed CPR and kept me from staying dead till the ambulance crew arrived and brought me the rest of the way back

Except from the 2006 SIM... 2. Persons holding a USPA B license are able to exercise all privileges of an A-license holder, perform night jumps, with 100 jumps are eligible for the USPA Coach Rating, and must have- a. obtained a USPA A license b. completed 50 jumps including: (1) accumulated at least 30 minutes of controlled freefall time (2) landed within ten meters of target center on ten jumps c. aerial performance requirements, either: (1) demonstrated the ability to perform individual maneuvers (left 360, right 360, backloop, left 360, right 360, backloop) in freefall in 18 seconds or less (2) or successful completion of the planned formation(s) on ten group freefall jumps d. documentation of live water landing training with full equipment in accordance with the procedures in the Skydiver's Information Manual e. passed a written exam conducted by a current USPA I, I/E, S&TA, or USPA Board member. __ My mighty steed

I was riding my bike to work this AM It was slightly chilly, about 55 F. so the wind in my face and hair was brisk, but not uncomfortably cool. The sun was shining and the sky was that deep deep blue that you only get in the early morning when theres NO moisture or smog or anything in the air at all, All the tree's have that fresh, new leaves, spring green. If its really possible to actually be high on life, then man was I ever high

I just thought about taking a trip without my rig and borrowing or renting gear and I found that I had the same emotional reaction as I would have at the idea of borrowing or renting underwear. Bleah.... __ My mighty steed
