Wow. I have never heard anyone mention PC effecting the stall point. I'm eager to hear other peoples thoughts. P.S. It must suck to stall that much on BASE jumps

Ask Magot. I heard he's gonna be teaching there.

That's gorgeous man. I've got this really hardcore group of gaurdian angels that need a free paid vacation. ~Dan Osman

I bet whuffo's would want diapers at terminal too.

It was only version 1.1 Good point that wind is always something to consider though. As well as your bridal.

Do you land in the water at that cliff or is there a beach or something? Looks amazing.

It says don't jump in winds higher than 2 meters per second. By my rough calculations that's about 5 MPH, is that correct? Edit to add: Does that acceptable magnitude very depending on the angle of the wind (I don't know the object).

If you slide your finger under everything below the tail pocket, and then grab the top of the tail pocket with your thumb, you can lift the canopy a bit and slide the container under the canopy, instead of vice versa. That way the pack job doesn't have to move.

Thanks for sharing that video. I always thaught paragliding looked kind of lame. That looked awesome.

Good question. What postage do we need to put on it?

I just read through the 05 Yosemite permit request. Not that you need to here it from me, but nice job. Especially the response letter and contacting the congressman.

I'm also wondering who the author is. I love this quote "There’s no room for the future, or the past".

Uh-oh. Don't do anything stupid. Landing area, possible object strikes (if it's a bridge you still have to worry about trees, canyon walls, and possibly more), and how you plan on getting a parachute over your head are all very important too. Edited to add: Hopefully you're already considering those points, but the way the previous posts go, it seems like you figured since 300 is high enough your going for it.

I'm assuming the metaphors don't traduct well
-
I couldn't make sense of either one of these. It seems like the writer is using a lot of metaphors or something? P.S. I didn't know what traduction meant until I looked it up. Nice word use.

You said it is a thankless job, he might not get many thank you's, but I'm sure he gets some. And by the way, if your reading this Nick, Thank you. I've thanked you before in person too -
I've noted from previous comments that some people also like to use a size smaller than normal in high winds. For penetration I'm assuming.

I found another article from 2002 about a 5 million dollar restoration project and it also said "Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz's suggestion at a Sept. 26 press briefing that the Parachute Jump might be returned to operation with 21st-century technology." If you google parachute jump this is the number 1 article. http://www.nationaltrust.org/magazine/archives/arch_story/013004.htm

I thought anyone that doesn't already know about this would like to see it. I was looking for the towers at fort benning GA and found this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parachute_Jump I wonder if anyone in NY has figured out a way to do this.

I saw this one last night and thought to myself, Cya.
