Toilet training a cat is a cool idea but not all it is cracked up to be. My friend's cat was toilet trained and any "basin" was fair game -toilet, kitchen sink, bathtub............. Yuk! Plus, I personally don't want to share my toilet with my cats and I don't like the idea of leaving the seat or lid up 24/7 for them. We eliminated the toilet seat argument by leaving the lid down when not in use! I would have to re-train my SO in addition to my cats!

Honestly, a doctor isn't a mechanic. Most don't have much to gain from ordering extra tests, medications or treatments that are not needed. 8 years is a long time between physicals. Even if the weight loss is explanable, your wife sees something that concerns her. You should listen to her and get a check up.

Do you want durable or good? I have been using V-Moda earbuds for years. They are comfortable, stay in my ears, I LOVE the quality of the sound, and they block everything else. At least half the price of BOSE, probably closer to 25% depending on where you buy them (Costco used the carry them and would put them on sale several times a year) and really amazing sound. I've paid anywhere from $20.00 to $60.00 for them and I have gone through several- especially when I was going to the gym 4 times a week! If the wires get bent or chewed they are toast, and the earlier versions seemed much more fragile. (My cat got one pair, the others just got bent or damaged through regular wear and tear or rollng them up to stuff them in a case.) Anyway, I think they are making them better now. I have had my current pair for a few years with no problems.

Sure- since we've since learned that the USPA "complaint" was essentially solicited and filed after the fact by the OP's girlfriend's sister only after she was told to look at the video for anything inappropriate. I have to agree that takes away some credibility .........

Honestly, most of us know the difference between incidental contact and a deliberate grope. Still, there is so much going on during that first tandem that most women would probably dismiss it. We really don't want to believe that the person we've entrusted our lives to would be douchy enough to cop a cheap feel in freefall! Of course, if we stay in the sport long enough, we will encounter more than a few creepy douchy types and realize just how naive we were when we were newbies ........ (Anyway, the boob grab on opening reminds me of an old Friends episode with Joey's tailor getting a little too friendly when he was measuring inseems ...."That's how they do pants!") Taking the time to report the incident tells me that the woman felt very strongly that the contact was inappropriate. Just curious- how did you know about the complaint and the USPA's response to it? Do you know for a fact that they used the phrase "blowing it out of proportion"? Or was that just her/ your interpretation of their response? Not taking sides because I don't know any of the parties involved. You wouldn't be the first "whistle blower" to be fired nor would you be the first disgruntled ex employee to trash a former employer ......

My favorite Pandora station is my Ozomatli station- Ozomatli's music incorporates rock, latin, hip hop and rap so that Pandora station plays it all too. I eased myself into rap music with Jurrassic 5 and Chali 2na. My playlist can go from Mana to Jason Mraz to the Coup to Gorrilaz to Molotov - I like it but it can confuse some people! I know I like a few Atmosphere and Mos Def songs so I may experiment with a new station! Thanks!

I like some but not all. So, I can't vote because there is no option for that. I never used to listen to any of it at all but my musical tastes have changed over the years. I also find that listening to Pandora "radio" exposes me to music I never would have listened to otherwise.

I spent a summer backpacking through Europe with a youth hostel card and a train pass. I wouldn't trade that experience for anything. Of course, my experience is not exactly recent and no two hostels are created equal but a little common sense goes a long way!
