sigh...... Must I explain this again??? Its not the blonde hair, its the peroxide that seems to cause the brain damage. Natural blondes are very intelligent!

I'm surprised since the "real" Columbus day isn't until Wednesday. I know the place I'm taking Spanish classes is opne today and closed on Wednesday for that reason.

Dogs on the dropzone are sort of like kids on the dropzone. The ones with responsible parents who look after them and keep them out of trouble and away from the rigs are welcome. To be honest, I've probably seen more irresponsible parents at the dz than dog owners! And the worst tend to be the ones who show up for the day to do a tandem. They'll either leave their dog roasting in the car or chained to a tree and let their child run wild in the hangar.

Was the dog a rescue? I've never thought of a lab as an aggressive dog. When I watch those shows like Animal Cops and they are testing the dogs' behaviour, I always think the test where they take food away from them is unfair, but the truth is, most dogs never forget when they've been deprived of food for a long time. We took in an old beagle that had been out on her own for a while and she used to stash food all over the house! Regardless, that dog shouldn't be out in public and the owner should have known better.

Watch it with the blonde jokes! I'm blonde and saw it right away!

That's crazy! If that dog attacks other dogs, how does he act around small children? There is no way he (dog or owner, for that matter) should be allowed at a dropzone. There is no way the owner did not know his dog was aggressive and unpredictable- to bring him out in public in inexcusable! Hope your little guy gets through this ok!

I was channel surfing yesterday- there was a creepy movie on lifetime about a stalker. He made himself up with makeup and body paint to blend into a brick wall. That's what that reminds me of.
-
I never liked the guy. He plays like a chicken- afraid to take a hit. Of course, that could be why he still has a career at 41.

Thinner, but higher maintenance!

I've seen 3 of those so far. Y Tu Mama Tambien is a favorite because it also features one of my favorite beaches! Gotta love the Oaxacan coast!

Gracias! I am looking for good Latin/ Spanish films. This one I would have watched regardless, I just didn't get a chance when it was in the theatres near me last year.
-
Has anyone seen this film? It had a limited release in theatres last year and received a lot of critical acclaim. Its available on HBO on demand now. I watched it last night and I just found it amazing. The story, the detail, the characters. Great film! Highly recommended!

I regularly get calls for the person who had my phone number before me. I swear the fucker is still giving it out as his number too! Its happened to me before too! I'm very grateful for caller ID and an answering machine so I can screen my calls!

If you really want to jump, just show up at the dz and take a chance or wait for a hole. That's what other skydivers do. Wind is about the only thing most places seem to forecast consistently with any accuracy. Plus, even if its cloudy or rainy by your house, it might be clear and dry at the dz.

You're kidding, right?

They're a Chicago team. No one needs to jinx them, they will fall apart all by themselves.

I have to work, but with the fed closed its going to be a very quiet day.

Nooooooo... really??? But I thought EVERYTHING in the tabloids was true!

She wouldn't mess up her fine body to help keep up Tom's image....she had a real career of her own to consider. Nicole was pregnant when they separated and Tom claimed it wasn't his, right? But then she miscarried and they did a DNA test on the fetus that proved it was. That's what I remember anyway, but its so hard to keep up with this tabloid stuff!

I used to be able to expense my parking since I was working 12 hours days. I'd submit a couple of months worth of parking receipts at a time- I think the biggest was around $2,000.00. Not as bad as yours, but still, it was only for parking! Anything after a certain time of night and your employer is supposed to pay your way home (taxi) and feed you dinner. Never got dinner but parking was usually cheaper than cab fare and they paid it without batting an eye! I don't know if that's a law or just customary with downtown companies.

Experiences with Insurance companies? (Car, home. life)
tigra replied to PhreeZone's topic in The Bonfire
I've got Allstate for homeowners and auto right now and I was really surprised to find they were the least expensive of all the places I called. Geico was almost twice as much. Go figure........ -
Notice how none of the girls come back at this one? LoL. I quote you simply to resurect it before it gets burried. I'm with you Cocheese. I'm with you guys on this too. You're not going to get cooties or anything from the damn seat. Sit on it. Wipe it off with TP if you need to or use an ass gasket but don't squat. If you feel the urge to squat then go out back like the guys. I'm with you as well! And if you really feel that you MUST squat, learn to aim or clean up after yourselves! That's just plain nasty!
-
NOOOOOOOO Put the lid down and then flush. Ugh....keep those nasty germs away from me. Exactly! Lid is always down in my house. That's one reason and the other is that I don't like my cats drinking from the toilet!

He even posted something nice, inciteful and supportive in the women's forum. Its like he's crossed over to the dark side or something!

You haven't lived until you've seen Billy Weber strip down to his briefs in the middle of the hangar! Sorry Billy- love ya lots!
