Being on vacation tends to give a little time. I lost a few strokes by just missing a couple of times so I think that a score lower then 26 is possible.. But this is close..

Has anybody on here gotten their V3 yet?? Any thought on the production models? Best thing for BASE since sliced bread?? Any reviews on how it flocks since we all know people will be trying that with this suit , i.e. same drawbacks the V series has had previously? Just curious Scott C. that is my point... Plenty of Blame to go around for both Dems and Republicans. That said blaming Bush for stubbing your toe at night in the dark does not make much sense. I wonder if in 1.5 years from now with a Dem Congress and Executive branch if problems that will surely still be lingering will still be Bush's fault. IF the economic downturn is being blamed on the Subprime mortgage market and that has snowballed to the point we are now, I seem to remember that the deregulation for that happened under Clinton.. Just got a 33 but cant figure how to capture the screen. Pretty easy to get 38-41 score range but the lower scores need some luck it seems Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

Yes there is O2 on Kapowsin "Ultimate" Tandem. When I have taken a passanger it was a noticeably longer freefall I have to say, and I do admit it was fun.. I don't think the price is really too much out of whack given the extra climb time to altitude, the O2 and the extras it brings. As I figure it your paying about an extra $100 over the standard $215 tandem cost with out the other stuff, i.e. video, T-shirt, Logbook (I think the last Ultimate tandem I did they got lunch at the Cafe as well). Add all it up and you are about $350. As for the Extra $100, I don't exactly remember but I think I, as the TI, got a little more pay and the rest covers the extra time to 18K from the standard 13K exit and then add in the O2 costs. Why should the DZ not get a little more for this jump.. Saying someone got ripped is a stretch I think. If you exit at ~13K as a tandem most tandems are going to open at ~5K. Add the extra 5K of altitude to the already 8K fall and you are getting about 65% more freefall... Also someone can possible see extra value in the fact that it is unique and if your going to do it once and you have the money why not. Do you drive a BMW or a Corolla, you can find models that are similar but the cost difference is pronounced. That said, guess what, people are buying plenty of each based on what the value they see, want, and can afford. Is the Ultimate tandem a bit more, yeah but as I noted above not really that much when you break it down. Given that an extra $100 to a lot of people would find that a small increase for the different then normal tandem. All of that said, if you advertise a 18K and charge for it but dont do it that is a completely different story and let the masses protest and "Storm the castle" over it... just my 0.02 Scott C. I 100% agree, no need to rush.. Going to a wingsuit is akin to downsizing a canopy. 99% + of the time it will be fine BUT when things go wonky they go that direction FAST and you need a solid base to draw info from to react correctly. The more jumps (i.e. experiences) you have the better prepared that you are for unusual situations. I did not try a wingsuit till I was close to 3000 jumps.. I guess I just needed the extra practice with my remedial skilzs compared the the jumpers out there with "mad skilzs" Scott C. "He who Hesitates Shall Inherit the Earth!"

It really has gotten to the point that when I see your name on a thread I have to roll my eyes and wonder how you are going to bash Flocking again... Even in this thread it seems you are placing BASE and max flying as the be all end all of wingsuits.. I am glad that you have a higher level of appreciation for what the max performance of a wingsuit is but flocking is an entirely different set of skills compared to maxing out a suit. I appreciate the fact todays suits can perform very well and I participate in that aspect (not base) and I enjoy it but I also enjoy Flocking and more technical flocking opportunities. It is all fun and it is too bad you feel the need to bash the different areas that a wingsuit has to offer other then your myopic view.. Very sad.. Scott C. I need to add that was a great video!
