If skydiving didn't exist. . . .what sport would you do?

I love paintball...both expensive so Skydiving wins. "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche -
I fly with a marv golden anr but always forget the battery pack. I like the anr and want to stay with it forever. DC are really nice to and they make a nice anr. The best out there is the bose but if you dont have a grand just sitting around your probably going to be disappointed. "Believe me! Scary! Another step to destroy your freedom! (not a gun thread)
dtpilot replied to AggieDave's topic in Speakers Corner
That sucks... But doesnt mean that they are trying to take away our freedom. Its your choice to print right? "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche -
I still dont see how that is worth 150,000 to prove the voting system is ok. "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

GQ, as long as that marine was over there he is a hero! Now he may have violated laws but that is up to the courts to decide. Remember it was a journalist that made the video and may not know the whole story. But all the people over there are heros!!!! "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

Thanks for the support GQ. Those guys over there now and the ones getting ready to go actually do understand why they are there and what they are doing. It is simply protecting our nations policies and freedom. They just dont understand why it is taking so long and why the people around the world arent backing them. "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

Im sure there is much that we dont see. Thank God for that. I wish the journalist werent allowed out there anyways. They think that they can go out into a war zone and expect to be protected and then they attack us with stupid stuff like the article that you wrote about. There are rules of war and they should be followed but when you dont know if that dead or alive body is going to kill you, I would peronally like to make sure he is dead. Get the press out!!! Let the jar heads take care of the job like they were trained and get us outta there. Thanks to the Warriors who sacrific their lives for our freedom. "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

They may not intend on killing the occupants but they also dont intent to enter an occupied home. So inturn they dont want to be caught so goodbye good guy right. The more I think about all the responses the more confident I am about shooting when the time comes. So if the gun is pulled the trigger is next. But I do understand that the gun looks scary and a perp will see it and hopefully run and I never have believed in shooting someone in the back. If they are running away they are no longer a threat and in oklahoma I would go to jail for murder for sure. They stated that very clearly in the class. "Believe me! im going to check out the website www.idpa.com a little later but a quick question for you. Is is very expensive to join and participate? I really need to increase my real world practice with my carry gun. I put most rounds through a sigpro which I dont carry. My carry weapon is a Taurus PT140. Really light and small for me but still accure. I have put about a 1000 rounds through it in the year i have owned it. Do you think that is to little for the year. I have heard that the taurus subcompacts arnt the best for putting tons of rounds through. They wear down faster or something. So far I cant tell a differense in the accurace after the 1000 rounds. Still shoots good and draws fast. "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

your lucky day! Go to best buy and they have this thing called a jumpdrive... made by lexar which would double as a storage device that holds up to 256m of data and then has the ability to store your passwords to all those places out there that you cant remember the passwords. The best part is it used a finger print scan to access the files. Really from what I got out of the explaination on the box is that you go to the website that you are login in to like dropzone.com and plug the jumpdrive in and swipe your finger and it enters the info automatically in for you... Coool stuff. Just for a small price of 79.99 I want one "Believe me! Take'm down thats what its all about. shootin in the knee or arm is a mistake and a lawsuit waiting to happen. If they cant talk then they cant stand up for themselves at the trial, right. Center mass is the largest and most deadly part of the body so that is the sweet spot. Is it true that most bullets will skip around the scull if fired at the head? "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

AMax...I know that I could use the weapon to save my life. I just...man I dont know. The gun is...lets say an RSL. There if you need it. answered my own question Shoot for the right reason and make the decision fast!!! Second guess yourself and it must be a mistake. "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

Ok... good luck if you decide to go through with it. I took history over the internet as a fast track 8 week course. Really was stressful. You dont get the teaching aspect of school...if you like reading it is all for you. I tried my best to keep up with the course but reading 3 chapters of something that I wasnt really interested in at the time really took it out of me. My suggestions would be to check out the course format before you signup and try and find someone that has taken it before. From one of the former students from the college if you can. If it sounds good look further into where the test are taken. I had to drive down to the downtown campus of the school that I went to which is about a 30 min drive every 2 weeks. What is the point in an online course if you can't do it all on the internet. Just make sure you get all the facts before you sign up...I made the mistake and missed most of the facts. Good luck "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

I agree there. Some people believe if you come into their house the have the right to shoot you. Some get away with it. Like Oklahoma. The wonderful make my day law. Not to up on the law so if someone else knows more, please add. Now if that person stealing my tv turns around and comes toward me then make my day bud. "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

Same thing that I was taught...use deadly force only as a last resort an use it to stop further aggression buy stopping the aggression all together. If the aggressor is dead you will be alive. I got my conceiled carry license mainly because I could. I love handguns and can shoot them very accuratly. I hope that if I am ever in the situation to have to use the weapon that it is for the right reason. Sometimes I think that I am asking for trouble just having the gun in my car. Asking questions like, "What would I do if I didn't have the gun", "Would there be a better way to avoid to avoid the use of deadly force". If someone was coming at me with the intent to severly hurt me or kill me with a deadly weapon, they would be the dead one. "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

Ok this is a question aimed at those with concealed carry licenses but feel free to answer anyways. So would you really shoot if the time came? I have had my carry license for about 8 months now and still can't give myself a straight answer to whether or not I would pull the trigger in a deserving situation. It is a split second decision to make a mistake or to save your life. One puts you in jail for the rest of your life and the other allows you to take another breath in freedom. So try and help me out here and give me something to work off...would you pull the trigger? "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

I was looking through the old post and found this... that cartoon is killer. "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche

id bring the issue up to your super about the lack of work being done on the machine. If they really care about the comany and its money making they will do something about the guy who doesnt give a shit about their machines. If he cares so much about pens put him in a damn office. think your right about the ballon being low but you have to remember the show isnt being filmed right now. The whole show has already been shot, probably when it was warmer. Killer stunts though "Believe me! The secret of reaping the greatest fruitfulness and the greatest enjoyment from life is to live dangerously!" -- Friedrich Nietzsche
