Has the game been canceled? All I can find on TV is the coverage of a USC practice session... "For once you have tasted Absinthe you will walk the earth with your eyes turned towards the gutter, for there you have been and there you will long to return."

Even if he may not have personally goven the order, I have little doubts Putin's regime is behind the assassination. And under Anna Politkovskaya's murder as well. And there will be more. And they will walk away from it, because NO ONE can say or do much about it. Russia has become an energy pimp to Western Europe, and can bitch slap the EU around. Russia is today a full on dictatorship, which amazingly enough has the support of the majority of its population... If I understand the amazing system of checks and balances that the US constitution offers, unconstitutionality can only be determined by the judicial branch (and not by members of the armed forces). I can't find anything in the Constitution about the Judicial Branch having the authority to declare a President an enemy of the Constitution. Where exactly is this authority granted? A president declaring himself an "enemy" of the constitution amounts to the president rescinding his oath. Once he gives orders that lead to violation of the constitution, the judicial system can be consulted and the order challenged. Should the judicial arm find such order to be in violation of the constitution, it would then enables the legislative arm to initiate the impeachment process, which could lead to the removal of the President from him functions, including CIC of the Armed Forces. And I bet you that if the POTUS would indeed be deemed an "enemy" of the constitution, the above process could be gone through pretty quickly... My understanding of the system. Nice job! You've destroyed a perfectly great fantasy, by replacing a stunning creature with Kathy Bates... "For once you have tasted Absinthe you will walk the earth with your eyes turned towards the gutter, for there you have been and there you will long to return."

If I understand the amazing system of checks and balances that the US constitution offers, unconstitutionality can only be determined by the judicial branch (and not by members of the armed forces). Should the Supreme court rule that a President is violating the constitution, I would think that would be ground for impeachment, in which case the whole situation is a non issue, unless an inpeached president remains at the head of the armed forces, which I doubt he/she would. Much like the original Thanksgiving: i take the food a person gives me, then commit genocide on this person and his/her family. Then once a year, I have a "Thanking" thought for them poor bastards... Doubt it. Otherwise most cars wouldn't be found in California, which is to driving what herpes is to mankind, or to put it more simply, what Keanu Reeves is to acting: a painful condition that just won't go away! Most people don't really enjoy driving. To most, it's a social status thingie. Life without having to be behind the wheel is quite exhilarating. Bike riding, cab riding, and this brand new concept called... walking! Life is gooooooood

Six Muslim Clerics Removed from USAir Flight for Praying

Uh? That's a pretty strong statement, which as stated I do not grasp. Can you elaborate? "For once you have tasted Absinthe you will walk the earth with your eyes turned towards the gutter, for there you have been and there you will long to return." -
I was thinking entry level, but don't know much about going rates. I wasn't. About 15% at the time. "For once you have tasted Absinthe you will walk the earth with your eyes turned towards the gutter, for there you have been and there you will long to return."

LA is much like any big city. Living in the hip neighborhoods is expensive, but it's fairly affordable if you are not too picky. I find LA cheaper than all major European cities. I had a small 1 bedroom in Venice at the beach for $1,500. Go inland a mile or so, and you can get a 2 bedroom for $1,000. As a qualified IT, you should be able to gross around 3k/month in LA, so over 2k net. Do the math... Car insurance and gas will be painful in LA though... I actually have no idea, and wouldn't be surprised if a big majority of Iraqis would rather see Saddam fry rather than be at the reigns. I am not quite sure it is on what "we" call the right path, as political murder, and suppression of the press and the freedom of expression is now the official path Putin has taken. But it may be the "right path" for the Russians, they will decide. Sure won't be democracy, but who knows, it may be for the better for them... I wonder how many incidents wouldn't be reported if it wasn't for "off target" speculating threads/posts. Do you read anything, anything at all, that could be useful and instructive to anyone reading this thread? How did fate introduce you to the love of your life ?

And very dear and close friend of mine, who also happens to be an ex girlfriend, who also happens to be my ex sister in law, introduced me to my little queen... Don't ask! In all seriousness, just for the sake of knowledge, I'd love to know what percentage of the Iraqi population would rather have him in power than the current government, given the current conditions. In Russia, a majority of the population understands that Putin is turning quite despotic. Yet a majority of the population supports him... Could it be that some people have greater concerns than being a democracy? Where is the line drawn...??? Nothing to worry about. Insurgents have stepped up their activity because of the upcoming mid-term elections presidential elections in 2008. Things will get back to normal after the elections. On the bright side, admission being the first step towards recovery, some seem to be coming to their senses... I don't see it as being a "slap in the face". last time I was in NY, I remember seeing quite few Italian flags flown over Italian restaurants in Little Italy. Where do you draw the line: few years ago, I went to Anaheim Stadium to see the Angels play the Yankees. There were more Yankees fans in the stands than Angels fans. They were wearing Yankee blue. I reckon the majority of them lived in SoCal (including my father in law, who's grand father immigrated from Italy via NY...). Should they show respect to their home state by either not wearing Yankees colors, or at least no more than Angels colors? It's only a flag. It only means as much as each individual wants it to mean...
