  4. sorry Dale, I can't help you more on this as I only wore the rig on the ground. All I know is that I would like to have the feedback of wingsuiters on it. I would take for granted that it would be a perfect freeflyer fit. Actually the comfort and fit are closer to a hiking backpack rather than a brick or a parachute. Plus it nicely respects the moves of your body. If I understood correctly, there are a couple of VFS flyers who are using the rig. So I wouldn't question much the "freeflyability" of the rig. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

  15. welcome to the forums. in what currency are you quoting your estimates ? A licenses are different per country. Always look locally what the license will allow you to do. If I were you I would take advantage of being in the warmer and cheaper side of Europe to start jumping. Just make sure you have "enough" money when you start, as you might change your plans of going back to UK very quickly scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
  16. A better idea would be to cut the elastic and mate the 2 elastic ends with Velcro. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM

  20. I didn't jump it, but tried it on at Skydive Expo. And EVERYBODY had the same remarks
  21. from the rigs I have seen, specially the overstuffed small V3's seem to loose some of the comfort. I call it a Brick Fit. It might be different if the sizes of the canopies are more on the loose side. Now if you want COMFORTABLE, check the new Voodoo Curve from Rigging Innovations
  22. I was lucky enough to meet Ted quickly at PIA, and lucky enough to witness all the displays of love for Ted from all around at this year's Skydive Expo in Deland. I took a quick picture of what I thought might be one of the most simple, yet very efficient tributes.
  23. Check with Claude who used to run the tracking derby. I remember of such speeds. scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
